very private, a 1.3 mile drive to tram line we used the most, they have a parking lot that is free for users of TBM. Owners generously gave us a lovely chilled bottle of wine to welcome us.

The location was great, the house was very nice and spacious and with a lot of character. Matthieu was very welcoming, easy to communicate with, and spent 10 mins sharing recommendations and suggestion sites to see which was appreciated. We were also grateful to be able to leave our luggage there to the afternoon as we had a late flight out.

The bed is huge and comfortable, the bathroom is nicely appointed with an excellent shower, there is a lovely, luxurious tub in the room, and the show-stopper is the gorgeous terrace with a hot tub. It was very hot for our stay, but the aircon in the room worked very well. Georges, the host, is extremely friendly and accommodating, and gave us great advice on exploring Bordeaux.

Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The fridge was stocked with butter, jam, cheese, milk, juice. Great coffee machine and loved the baked goods that were delivered each morning at 8am. Everything was fabulous and the location is a short walk (20mins) into the old town. I would definitely stay at this property next time we’re in Bordeaux.

It felt like a home way from home and Blanche was the perfect host who made us feel very welcome and offered lots of tips and advice for places to visit during our trip! The rooms are located above the patisserie below so we had a delicious chiffon cake each day when we returned to our room.
