The location, room, garden has awesome atmosphere- I loved the meditation session and the fire ritual! We stayed for two nights and took evening cemetery tour which was informative and mysterious at the same time! Dinners are superb! I booked family room for two of us and it was great and spacious. I would recommend this place for anyone interested in Buddhism or with appreciation of esoteric teachings. Staff is caring and attentive!

The staff was very friendly, but most of them spoke very little English. There was some confusion with getting dinner for the evening as it was not included in my reservation. So if you want breakfast or dinner, snd it is not included in your reservation, make sure to tell them you want it as soon as you check in. It was a wonderful experience to stay there! Make sure you go to the Fire ceremony, which was at 1 pm daily. It is free.

Set in Shirahama, within 200 metres of Shirahama Beach and 1.2 km of Ezura Beach, Shirahama no Yado Daigo offers free WiFi throughout the property. The hostess (who's also the owner) was a very nice and friendly person. Breakfast was complimentary and the hostess even made breakfast by herself to guests every morning and it was delicious! The room is equipped with tatami floor and was super clean. There was no bed but instead futon was provided and you need to set it up by yourself at night which was interesting. It was a special experience to get a chance to sleep in a Japanese futon. If you don't know how to set it up they will help you too. The bathroom is big and equipments were new. The hotel is within 5 minutes walk to the beach. It's also close to a bus stop which takes you to surrounding sightseeing places. There are convenient store and supermarket within walking distance and you can buy fireworks there to play at the beach at night. If we come back to Shirahama in the future we will choose to stay here again.

高野山 真田坊 蓮華定院 -Koyasan Sanadabo Rengejoin- se găsește în Koyasan, la aproximativ 39 km de Kishi Station și la 46 km de Matsushita Park. The temple is historical but the room is quite new. All facilities are in good shape. The location is also good for travel. You can get off from bus 4 at the 3rd station. 2mins walk from the station.

Minshuku Sumiya se bucură de o locație excelentă în cartierul Kawayu Onsen din Tanabe, la 12 km de Hosshinmon Oji Shrine, la 20 km de Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art și la 23 km de Kumanoshi... Host was very welcoming and accommodating. Helped us secure our bicycles, gave us a short tour, explained the onsen inside and the river onsen as well. Recommended a great place for dinner and served a fantastic Japanese breakfast. Slept in a traditional Japanese room, it was very comfortable. The place has a small cozy bar/breakfast nook. Had some Sake and chatted with the host for a night cap.

Everything was amazing including the location, check in, staff and the room. Our dinner was outstanding and breakfast was good. The chance to be at the morning prayer and participate was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this property.

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. Everything was beautiful and I love to take the budist ceremony with the monks. This place is beautiful and quiet just what I was looking for after long trip. The staff was very nice and kind.
