Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. Dinner and breakfast exceeded expectations. Everyone was so helpful and polite. The room and private onsen was amazing. It was a great way to relax.

Featuring free property-wide WiFi, a spa centre and a seasonal outdoor pool, Matsushima Ichinobo offers accommodation in Matsushima. The room (I had the basic level option) was gigantic for Japan, with a huge picture window and a view to die for. To say I was blown away upon arrival would be an understatement. The hotel is spacious and uncrowded. I suspect it caters almost exclusively to the Japanese market so some instructions were on rather informal notes, or simply only in Japanese. The rate is breakfast and dinner included but also includes unlimited alcohol from 7pm and coffee/tea/refreshments all day with an icecream bar in the late morning and afternoon. The silence and sleep quality was superb as was the bathroom with shower.

Tagoto features a hot public bath, Japanese-style and Western rooms and Japanese cuisine, a 5-minute drive from Aizu Wakamatsu Station. Food was great Staff were very organized

Tamonkan ligger i en historisk byggnad i japansk stil, omgivet av heliga berg och orörd natur. Gratis te och snacks serveras på hotellet. Dewa Shrine ligger 8 minuters promenad bort. Tamonkan is an amazing ryonkan. The sweet couple that manages it so so so kind and gentle. The rooms so cozy. We had an amazing experience. It’s perfect to reach Mount hagura. And it’s well connected with the main city. The food that they cooked for us was great too! I suggest to try breakfast and dinner. I really hope to come back again. Arigato! We love you ♥️♥️♥️

Miyamaso Takamiya ligger knappt 10 minuters promenad från linbanan Zao Sky och har 9 naturliga varma källor. Hotellets trästruktur erbjuder boende i traditionell japansk stil. An exceptional and authentic experience. The food was delicious, the staff was so welcoming and professional. This place heals your body and soul. 12/10!! We will be back for sure, recommended!!!

Located a 7-minute walk from Gosho Lake, Shikitei Morioka TsunagiOnsen offers free WiFi and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths. JR Morioka Train Station is a 25-minute drive from the property. they were really open to everything we needed. food was excellent

Yasuragino Yado -Iyashino Yu- ligger i Kitakami, 42 km från Chūson-ji-templet, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. The property was immaculate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The onsen was the cleanest I’ve seen.

Oyado Morinone ligger i Kaminoyama, inom 17 km från Zao Hotsprings skidort och 19 minuters promenad från Kaminoyama-Onsen station, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen... This was the most elegant and restful stay of my life. Food is incredible - deserves a bib gourmand! Rooms are large and comfortable with a view. Onsen is lovely. The best is the free alcohol and hot drink service in the evenings around the fireplace. Definitely stay here if you can! It’s once in a lifetime type stuff
