Izumi-Sano

A variety of yukata robes are available for rent, and free parking is on site. This hotel includes an extensive dinner of many small courses in a private dining room. We were delighted with the extensive and beautiful offerings. We loved the cozy tatami room overlooking the flowing river. While we were out at dinner, our room was magically turned into a warm futons so we could sleep with the sound of the water. The onsen was lovely, with a cooler indoor soaking pool and a downstairs hotter outdoor pool (separated by gender). In the morning, we enjoyed an elaborate Japanese breakfast in a common breakfast room, but well separated from the other guests and beautifully attended by the attentive staff. More than anything, we appreciated how much they went out of the way to make us feel welcome. Two of the three members of our party were not Japanese speaking, but everyone was friendly and helpful. They clearly took the time to translate our menu into English so we could enjoy each course. Truly over and above. Want an uniquely Japanese experience that takes you away from the touristy city centres? This is the place to go.

Centrally located hotel. Mix of traditional and modern, with the futon beds and tatami, but also modern private bathroom.
Hotel with fantastic amenity and facilities (public onsen, coin op room of washers and dryers, vending machines, day spa and the best 24 hr in hotel convenience store where you could buy mini meals, snacks, drinks, alcohol and all very affordable). Very comfortable beds, and great in bath showers with slippers, yukatas and robes and ofcourse the many cool amenities the Japanese thoughtfully provide.
The futons were SUPER comfortable The course meal was a great experience I enjoyed relaxing in the onsen It was very nice being in a more secluded area away from the city for one night I really enjoyed the teishoku breakfast
The Ryokan was situated very close to Dotonbori, which is perfect as a tourist. The staff was very nice and the Onsen was great after a long walk on a cold day.
love the in-house onsen and the free supper. So far so good. the flooring was tatami, just nice my bb can crawl around without worry. living room, and other rooms was separated with sliding doors, which can close it avoid bb climb to other danger area.
Large family room was quite comfortable with beds and futons. Onsen was great.
It's a backpackers hostel but with a private Japanese-style room with tatami and a futon. Its right next to the subway close to the city centre so you can get into Umeda, Osaka, and Osaka castle easily. The staff were all super helpful and friendly with staff from all the around the world making it a fun and interesting place to stay. It had all the amenities you need to stay comfortably.
We wanted to experience a ryokan so booked this place. It wasn't quite what we had imagined since it's a huge place. The rooms are very large and had futons that were laid out at night. We opted for the traditional breakfast in the morning, which was fine though not extraordinary. The location is good, on the canal just across the street from a lively area with tons of restaurants and shops.
Excellent staff service & great experience of tatami setting all over the hotel area. The room is spacious and cozy. Breakfast is great as well! Hot spring area is located at convenient floor.
