Conveniently located, few minutes walk from the main station and Matsumoto castle.

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. It was a traditional Ryokan with a lot of charm and had a delicious restaurant. They had amazing staff and although we do not expect it, it was nice that some knew English. They answered all questions and were so helpful. They were kind to my kids, our 3 day stay was relaxing. Heaters in the room kept us all warm during the mountain cold winter nights. We are seasoned travelers and by far one of my favorite places. We will return again.

A beautiful luxury hotel set in forest outside Tsumago, with hotel shuttle bus access. Everything was perfect- from the warm welcome, being conducted to our room, shown the onsen and dining room, where breakfast and dinner were exceptional (in Keisei style and well worth the additional charge). It was a most relaxing stay after our Magome to Tsumago walk- 6 hours in drenching rain- but still very beautiful to be again on this marvellous walk.

Yorozuya ligger 7 minutters gang fra Yudanaka Station og byder på varme kilder, spabad samt værelser i japansk stil med egen terrasse og eget badeværelse. this was the first visit to YOROZUYA after many years. always an exceptional experience. staff was great! Sakamoto-san was very accommodating in our SAKURA room for meals. will be sure to visit again. maybe stay in KIKU room?!?!

If you are planning a trip near Nagano or in the japanese Alps and you are looking for an authentic experience don't miss the opportunity to stay at this beautiful Ryokan. The owner is a Man of kindness and he cares profoundly for his guests. I recommand you to book with dinner, you will not be disappointed. We were served such delicious food it was incredible. We are looking forward to coming back to this magical place.

Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya ligger blot 10 minutters kørsel fra Snow Monkey Park og tilbyder enkel japansk indkvartering med gratis WiFi. The hosts were really welcoming and friendly. The room was warm and comfortable, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious.

Kadowakikan ligger 3 minutters gang fra skisportsstedet Nozawa Onsen og tilbyder ski til dør-adgang, varmt kildebad og gratis wi-fi. The location was excellent, close to the free shuttle bus pick up point to Nagasaka and a mere 6 min walk from the Shinden bus stop. The owner was super helpful and kind, going out of his way to help ensure that my stay was great. He offered a ride from the Shinden bus stop on arrival, and constantly checked on whether I needed anything else. He also readily provided information of the area, and provided guidance of where to eat around the hotel. The room was really clean and comfortable, and it was a really big room. A different snack is given daily too. Overall it was an excellent stay, and I would be happy to return again, if I can get a booking.

Tawaraya ligger 5 minutters gang fra Yudanaka Station og tilbyder indkvartering i japansk stil med gratis WiFi og fladskærms-tv. I opted for the Kaiseki meal with my stay and it was largely very good. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was very central to the station and bus stops to attractions like the Monkey Park. Staff were helpful and attentive, and the outdoor hot spring bath was beautiful and well maintained. It was on the pricier side but the value was also high.
