Boasting an open-air bath and views of mountain, Onsen Guest House Tsutaya is a recently renovated ryokan situated in Hakone, 6.5 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The accommodation features a lift, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. Loved everything about this hostel, from the location (close to the open air museum) in the mountains, down to the very small details of the interior. Lounge area was beautifully planned with a great view and places to hang out with new friends. The Onsen bath was clean and beautiful too. Had it for myself in the morning. The dorm bed was super big and felt private.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Guests can find a private hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant on site.

At the ryokan, all rooms include a flat-screen TV, fridge and wardrobe. Certain rooms feature in-room hot spring bath, while some rooms offer a kitchen with a microwave. Everything was absolutely amazing, the staff was great and incredibly welcoming. And the room even had its own Super Famicom! It was easily one of the cosiest stays we have ever had.

Air-conditioned rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. Amenities include an LCD TV, fridge, a safe and yukata robes. All rooms have a private toilet and washbasin, while bathroom facilities are shared. Green tea sets with snacks are provided. Very nice, very clean, new and very well furnished. Spaceous room. You have yukatas which can be weared everywhere in the hotel (even at dinner!), a pair of Japanese socks and a cute tea set in the rooms. Comfortable fouton beds and pillows. Dinner is a special Japanese experience - do not miss it!!! Very tasty and with an exceptional attentive service! Breakfast is also good in the same stile (although not as good as dinner;-)). Public onsens are seperate: 1 for men and 1 for women. Both look the same and have one inside and one outside baths. There are 2 small "family" onsens also with small inside baths only; and 3 very small private onsens which can be booked. Overall it is a very nice SPA hotel and it was a pleasure to stay there!

Main Dining Room "The Fujiya" serves French cuisine in an elegant space. Restaurant Cascade offers Western dishes, while Kikka-so serves traditional Japanese kaiseki dinners. A bar, lounge and bakery are available. the view and garden is awesome. location is easy accessible by bus, quite and clean hotel with enjoyable spa. we stayed in forest wing, the forest view outside window is refreshing and relaxing

A very nice big hotel room with a nice shower and we had a private outdoors onsen which was perfectly sized, heated, and with an aesthetic view.

The nearest airport is Oshima Airport, 87 km from the ryokan. The room was gorgeous! The breakfast was really good and it had two different onsen. The onsen were small, but I liked it a lot. The people were nice. I highly recommend this place! It was beautiful.

There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. comfortable and quiet the food was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful

Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the ryokan is soundproof and has a hot spring bath. Staff is very nice and professional, place clean and very pleasant 😊

You immediately feel at home and taken care of with small touches like skincare in the bathrooms, to big things like the private roof onsen available for free reservation. Fabulous breakfast and we were on our honeymoon so they surprised us with a decorated dessert and Polaroid photo of us!! Over the top kindness that makes me recommend this hotel to everyone and can’t imagine visiting Japan again without staying here.
