The place is truly authentic, ppl may describe it as old but it's can't be more wrong. I would describe it as rustic and serene, especially with the river beside it. Yes!! A running river, not much of a great sight but the sound of flowing water bring peace to your soul. Also, there's a private and excusive onsen beside the river, you just have to reserve it. Now to the most important aspect, the staff of Seiryuso.The hotel manager, Kajiki san set the benchmark for top notch hospitality. He has a bubbling personality, always giving out good vibes and positive energy. Always ready to serve and provide service. Always service with a smile.😊😊😊. Well, Japanese are known to provide great service but this is a whole other level. A special shout-out to the restaurant crew, specifically the service staff, didn't manage to get all their names other than matsuyi san. Kudos to the other gentlemen that provided the service.

El Yurian está situado en Ibusuki, a 10 km de Ibusuki Onsen. El establecimiento alberga una piscina y un baño de aguas termales. All their staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. Love the Spring onsen plus a separate spring swimming pool in the villa. Amazing views!!

Beautiful property by the sea. Room was clean, comfortable and huge with sea view, kaiseki seafood dinner and breakfast was excellent, staffs are friendly and helpful.

Bihadanoyu Koshikano Onsen está muy bien situado en el barrio de Hinatayama Onsen, Kirishima, a 47 km de Estación de Kagoshima Chuo, a 48 km de Estación de tren Kagoshima y a 15 km de Kirishima Jingu... I wish we stayed here longer. This is where we stayed when we arrived from Kagoshima Airport. Absolutely beautiful place with helpful staff. Best breakfast we had in Japan! The onsen in the room was amazing!

Hanon～波音～ está en Tatsugo, a 13 min a pie de Playa de Kurasaki, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y bar. It’s a family owned guest house with mother, father and two kids born 2020 and 2023. The father speaks English and that is friendly and eager to help. The common area is the same as the family’s private space. As a family you have access to a big bath tub big enough for four people. The house is made out of mainly wood, which is spacious and cozy. They created small areas for kids to play. Example a small ropeway. The father likes spear fishing. Relaxed atmosphere and helpful family made the trip to Amami really pleasant. Recommended.

Kirishima miyama hotel está en Kirishima, a 8,9 km de Kirishima Jingu Shrine, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. The room is a basic tatami room with futon. What makes this place stand out to me are the numerous bath houses…there are 3 outdoor baths as well as an indoor bath. All can be accessed privately with a key system which makes it very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very kind and polite.

El Nakahara Bessou está situado a 5 minutos a pie de la estación de tranvía de Tenmonkandori y ofrece alojamientos de estilo japonés u occidental con TV de pantalla plana, así como refrescantes baños... Establecimiento magnífico. Habitaciones de estilo japonés excelentes, ondeen comodísimo, limpieza extraordinaria.

Overlooking Kagoshima Bay, Hakusuikan boasts an outdoor pool and a variety of spacious indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, including a Sunamushi sand hot-spring. It had a calm and relaxing atmosphere that allowed me to unwind and disconnect from the outside world. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, and the multi-course dinners were presented with stunning detail and tasted amazing.

El Ryokan Kawakyu está situado a 8 minutos en coche de la estación de tren JR de Ibusuki y ofrece habitaciones de estilo japonés con vistas al río Nitanda, té verde y camas tradicionales de tipo... I had a great time staying at Family Ryokan Kawakyu. Oyama-san and his staff were very kind and accommodating. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. The hot bath was amazing after a long flight, and the breakfast in the morning was authentic and delicious. Oyama-san also helped me organise an electric bicycle for cycling around the Ibusuki area, and he pointed out some great local sights for me to see. This kind of generous, local hospitality is what makes staying at a Ryokan the best experience - you don’t get this in traditional hotels! Highly recommended!
