The food there was amazing! Multi course dinner was superb! Breakfast was delicious! The staff was exceptional. Highly recommended!

Located in Kitakami, 42 km from Chuson-ji Temple, Yasuragino Yado -Iyashino Yu- provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I didn't take the breakfast, so I can't comment on it. Location was good for me since I wanted to walk everyday.

Food was great too.

We were wow-ed by the service right at the moment we parked our car, a staff immediately came to gather our luggages, and then escort us to our rooms after check-in. The room was big beyond our expectation. Onsen leaves a smooth feeling skin.

Apikogen Mori no Hotel, a property with an open-air bath and a shared lounge, is set in Hachimantai, 46 km from Morioka Station, 70 metres from Appi Kogen Ski Resort, as well as 31 km from... It was perfect ! Very big room in Japanese style with beautiful view. The onsen are really great and it's so nice to have the opportunity of a private onsen without paying more. The hotel sell also dried ramen and snacks (chips, pop corn). Staff is really nice and helpful, they can pick you up at the train station for free.

Offering an open-air bath and mountain view, Kyukamura Iwate-Amiharionsen is located in Shizukuishi, 32 km from Morioka Station and 21 km from Shizukuishi Station. Everything was brilliant. Fantastic value for money. Great food, awesome Onsens. It's very traditional though. Beds are Futon style and there are no showers in the rooms. You have to shower in the Onsen.

Friendly and welcoming hospitality. The location was fabulous and the rooms were clean. Delicious array of dishes for the buffet. We really enjoyed the New Year’s Day firework exhibit and the fact that we could access the slopes straight from the hotel✨
