Wow. Compared to anywhere else we stayed this was the greatest! So much space given compared to the price. 2 big rooms, a separate sink area and the inside / outside private onsen which was excellent. Room had air conditioning and beds were comfortable. Also just a fun accommodation to explore. If you are in the area then just stay here.

Very decent budget choice. Rooms are basic but we had a good nigh of sleep. Dinner and breakfast were tasty. Also, there are two hot spring baths, gender separated. On top, there is also a mixed gender outside onsen, which was particularly nice at night. All in all, given the low price this was a really good place to stay for a night!

The room is just like an art museum. The room is spacious and decorated with lots of art pieces. There is a private bathroom and outdoor onsen for each room. We was able to do stargazing while enjoying onsen. The staff is very nice and easy to communicate. The futon is very soft and comfortable. We did enjoy a wonderful sleep.

Traveler’s Inn Asanebo is a traditional Japanese-style Inn. Perfect location to explore Hokkaido lakes, experience outdoor onsens, and see the wildlife. Taka is an amazing host, the food (breakfast and dinner) were just delicious. Taka is also a photographer and showed us around the area. It was the best place we stayed in Hokkaido. Thank you for your hospitality, Taka!
