Nice place to stay on Sado Shima. Accessible by bus, the house is very clean and confortable. Will get cold in winter. Host is kind, can speak English if you need! If you are not used to futon, might be tough in the beginning

Very nice guesthouse (former ryokan), with antique decorations,, comfy lounge, japanese style showers and many practical features (laundry, covered drying area, towels for rent, big kitchen...). Very helpful and caring staff! Guests receive upon arrival a map wirh extremely helpful information about Ogi (cafés, restaurants, onsen). Loved my room! The tourist information (for renting bicycles) as well as the bus stop is just around the corner..

Although a bit dated interior and facilities, it is a great value for money stay. With onsen and rotenburo on the roof. Also, nearby enough places to eat at night😊

A great place to stay on Sado island. Best to get a car but if you can't (we forget to get out IDP before leaving the uk) there are buses nearby and we hired bikes as well as using the ones at rosencat. Peaceful location. Comfortable futons and friendly owner :) The place is very clean too and the cats are gorgeous

The place is an old ryokan turned into a guesthouse. You can feel the history behind it, and I really like the vibe. You can use the kitchen freely so its nice to buy food in the supermarket and cook your meals. They recently opened a cafe too so you can enjoy coffee in their lounge room. Its really realxing there.

Beautiful property overlooking the sea. Modern style with traditional Japanese qualities. It was so relaxing to be able to wear our yukatas while enjoying cocktails outside on comfortable lawn chairs while watching the sunset. Japanese breakfast was exquisite and tasty. Bedroom was modern and comfortable.
