From the moment you arrive at the front gate, till u walk into the foyer area , and looking to the left where the lounge area is , the big window/balcony area— you see the postcard view , right there. Stunning. The view , the rooms, the meals, onsen were all very good. Staff very nice and helpful. On the day we left they still gave us a token/pass for their carpark and cafe at the main tourist area. 10/10 . Would really want to visit again.

The room is huge and the location is great! The train station is a 3-minute walk away, the hotel has rental bicycles, the hotel's hot springs are very good, and there are outdoor ones! Will stay again next time.

Clearly one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Japan. Very cute traditional Japanese rooms and beautiful views, big rooms, nice onsen, that I could use after hours because of my tattoos (They’re very agreeable). Close to Ine fishing village, the téléphérique and Amanohashidate! Also the staff is literally the nicest people on earth!

I’ll make it brief. I loved this place. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. It’s a Japanese style hotel which equally means clean and neat. It has a tiny Onsen-like bathroom inside with a sea view. I highly recommend this place for visitors of Amsnohashodate.

Futons on tatami matting and a traditional onsen (shared hot tub). There is also a small hot tub in the room. The family have been running it for 13 generations. It is designated museum as they keep it as traditional as is possible. Our room gave onto a delightful Japanese garden just in from the coast and was very tranquil. This is not for people looking for modern conveniences.

The location is great being next to the train/bus station and on the doorstep of the amanohashidate isthmus. It was good value for money when you're looking to spend a bit more as there aren't too many hostels in the area. You get to use the really fancy onsen at the hotel next door too which is awesome. Getting to use a traditional yukata too which is a fun way of connecting with the culture.

Totally amazing and a huge wow factor when we went down to dine. Amazing totally recommended. They even loaned us extra towels so we could swim nearby. And a fabulous little gift shop.
