I love the variety of food on my plate when i got my breakfast and it was brought to my room on time that I requested them in. Having the Coffee maker in my room made it easier to get my caffeine fix, not that LAWSON (convenience store) was far when it was literally just downstairs, that couldn't have been closer. And that Bus terminal just outside the Hotel? right on the spot where i need it to be. And did I mention they have in-house HOT SPRING? Yeah they do!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going to the area.

This ryokan was the highlight of our trip to Japan. Excellent seasonal and varied breakfast options, with an attention to detail unparalleled in my travel experience. The soaking pools met our hopes and needs perfectly, and we preferred the private rooms to any of the town’s public onsens. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, and the location was great—away from the hustle and bustle of the main square. Staff were incredible—helpful, welcoming, and friendly despite our limited Japanese language skills! Would highly recommend for a quiet, peaceful stay.

Although we did not speak japanese the staff did their best to help us and even had one english speaker on staff, they also provide a service to have your luggage shipped to your next destination which was very helpful when we went from gunma to kyoto. The staff goes in your room while you're gone to clean up and make your bed, they would also bring us tea and treats which we did not pay extra for. The onsen they have is very clean and beutiful especially since it is open air.

Breakfast is included in price, and is hearty. They have free drinks that are refreshing (and not just coffee or tea). Four private onsen rooms are so good. Enjoy as a couple or solo in these rooms. Perfect for those who are inked. I stayed at the corner room with windows on both sides of wall. Two beds. Amazing room with colourful walls. Overall quiet stay even though my room faces the intersection.
