The renovation and decoration of the house embodies the Arabic-Portuguese heritage of the town of Silves. The spacious suite that I booked was painted in warm earthy colors and came with a mix of European and North-African furniture and decorations. The host was absolutely fabulous. Not only did I receive complementary of wine and water upon arrival, but he went out of his way to show his good heart and fulfill any special requests that I had during my stay. The accommodation is situated in the town center at the foot of the hill of Silves. It comes with a roof terrace and, in season, and adjacent restaurant with Moroccan-Portuguese dishes. Because it was low season, there were hardly any other guests, and I could check out some of the other rooms, which made me want to come back as soon as I can so I can try them all.

Set within 12 km of Slide & Splash Water Park and 15 km of Arade Congress Centre, Casa Riad Yasmin offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Silves. The breakfast was outstanding. Plus, they kindly accommodated my husband's need for gluten free bread.
