FANTASTIC location being VERY close to the beach and the must-see Aircraft Carrier Museum. And a lot of wind did NOT affect the comfort in the room. An upscale hotel nearby offered take-away quality food at reasonable prices and a liqour shop nearby offered excellent beer and wine - so it was NO problem that other restaurants were closed due to off-season, Have a good time there...

They sent motel an email but Emerald Beach did not respond we're told. We turned in our keys the same day we arrived and went to another much nicer hotel and paid almost $200.00 less for 4 nights than this place. Other hotel also had a nice free breakfast buffet.

The room was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioner works. There is a pool that can be used from 9 am to 9 pm, great for when the jellyfish are everywhere. This is an older motel so nothing fancy but perfect for a trip to the beach for some sun and fun. We loved that the beach wasn't crowded and kept relatively clear of trash.
