A little noise conveys from adjoining rooms, but it's not bad. Others have commented about traffic noise. You're in downtown Chicago, what do you expect? It's part of the experience! Edgar, the manager exceeded all expectations, as did the entire staff. There is an ice maker, it is at the front desk, right as you walk in the door. Plenty of clean filtered ice. The room had no frills but that wasn’t what I was looking for. I got what I expected, no negative surprices. A positive surprice was an umbrella! Great location! (I didn’t ask about breakfast so I don’t know if they served breakfast.) This was my third time visiting Chicago. It’s an amazing city to be a tourist in!

The house is well equipped, and we slept well despite the rail line being right behind! Free parking by the roadside is a bonus.

The location was excellent near the downtown attractions. It was very clean, there was a nice little balcony, there was a microwave and fridge and also there was a safety deposit box in the room. , Most importantly I felt very safe there. I felt our car was safe as well, in the parking lot. We were originally going to stay there for two days, and stay elsewhere for the rest of our trip, but we were so happy with the motel we decided to stay there for our entire trip.
