From the beginning, it was great. Reception started with bubbly drinks, porters ready to help with bags, friendly staff and an invite to have lunch and wait till 2 pm for rooms. The safari outings were well organized and a lot of fun. Terrific guides. All very knowlegable and helpful. NOTE: This is a private game reserve dedicated to saving animals and giving them sanctuary and free range. It is a wonderful reserve with dedicated staff. It is not Kruger Park and it is NOT a big zoo (as I have seen written in reviews). Just be aware of where you are going. It's great for families and anyone who wants to enjoy observing big game in free range environment, to enjoy the large pool, activities for children, and a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed 4 nights but I'd suggest at least 2 nights. We enjoyed the spa and the treatments as well as the outings.

Excellent place for the family to stay, enough to keep kids of all ages entertained. We had an amazing time, swimming with the kids, nice and private. Games and puzzles to play with my little one and billiard room and darts kept my teen entertained. Plenty of books to read, enough space if you just needed peace and quiet. Awsome fire made for us to warm marshmellows in the fire pit in the evening. Got to pick fresh eggs for breakfast which my son found so exciting, amongst the chickens, goats and rabbits. Even got to see some safari animals up close and personal straight from the back yard! Plenty of space to play ball, run around and just be. Absolutely perfect for all sorts. TVs, place to plug up gaming, music, etc. for those who don't necessarily want to get away purely for the nature and outdoor activity too. Will definitely be returning!
