This was a fun walking trip, light show and lots to look at.
This was a fun walking trip, light show and lots to look at. Recommend going at 6pm and adding the light show to it. Food was good, clean, organized, busy, plenty of restrooms. Ride up and down mountain was a good family experience too

LOVE Anakeesta!
LOVE Anakeesta! Kid friendly, some little shops, zip line, mountain coaster. Treetop skywalk. They are building new things up there. Astra Lumina is a must see but does require a separate ticket. Be sure to visit Willow Man.

Go at 8:00pm and you get to see lights, ticket is also good for next day. You will stand in line for at least 1 1/2 hrs befor getting on chair lifts. Either get there at 8:3am or wait till about 4:00pm. Park is nice but food is very expensive, take snacks and buy the drink. Roller coasters can not be viewed from the park area. May have been on of our favorite things to do in Gatlinburg. The view is breathtaking! Love the ride up, and the ride down. The Walk Among the Trees was beautiful! The view up top was gorgeous! Loved the shops, snacks and beverages too! Exceptionally clean and well maintained. The Smokehouse bar is a nice place for a cold cocktail. We wished we would have skipped the mountain coaster - it was short and jarring. Head into Rowdy Bear in Gatlinburg for Alpine Coaster and a one of a kind Zip Coaster. And don't miss Goats on A Roof at Pigeon Forge! Do this as early in the morning as possible if you are wanting to ride in one of the enclosed chondolas. Otherwise you will be waiting in line for a very long time to get on and also waiting in line when you are ready to leave as well.

The entire town is easily walkable from here. It is also very comfortable, and provides a guaranteed lot to park your car. Its a great place to come into to stay in town, and only need to drive if you are heading out of town. Getting to the Great Smokeys is just a few minute drive out of town. It is also nice to stay right along the creek running through town.

Each bedroom had its own bath attached. Native bears walked right under the balcony where we could watch them, this was delightful for the kids.
