You can hike & bike the C&O Canal, bring your kayak, canoe & bikes, fish or swim in the river. Sit on the porch and listen to the rumble of the water falling over the dam. Local lore is this was the home of a canal lock keeper or the gate house keeper. Secluded location away from town. NOT A PARTY HOUSE; owner on site in garage apartment. Main bed is a queen, site does not have an option for queen beds.

I have a love of old houses & buildings; I wish I could save them all. I try my hardest to restore the properties to original but with modern amenities. The fact that the springhouse actually has water coming from under it is pretty awesome. You would be surprised how many people don't know what a springhouse or spring is. I would like to travel more but that four-letter word "work:" gets in the way.
