Built in two different chronological moments, between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, the Masseria Luco is a typical "court" farmhouse composed of two separate and opposed architectural bodies: the imposing farmhouse, once a manor house, and the ancient " vaccheria ", a group of 12 trulli chained to a stirrup of horses, once used as stables and today the home of the owners. The consecrated chapel, with its considerable historical interest, is full of frescoes from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, attributed to the Carella school and to the Carella himself. Surrounding the enchanting structure is a beautiful farmyard, from which you can see the picturesque landscape of the Itria Valley, and a very rare example of a beehive, once used and now become a historical relic. Surrounded by several hectares of forest that make it an oasis of peace, Masseria Luco is the ideal place for those who love nature, animals, the charm of ancient architecture.
