The Autosufficienza Applied Ecology Center is a unique place, surrounded by green woods and with a breathtaking view. Started in 2009 from the ruins of an abandoned farm today it is a place of marriage between man and nature and an inspiration for those seeking a healthy life in harmony with the environment. A place of peace and relaxation, it is ideal for holidays to reconnect with oneself and with nature but also to access the nearby Casentinesi Forest Park and to benefit from the precious thermal waters of Bagno di Romagna. All the structures are made in bio-architecture with natural materials with low environmental impact. Energy, hot water and food are self-produced and the once abandoned fields have been transformed into an Eden of biodiversity and vitality. Every aspect of life in this place far exceeds the highest standards of organic and ecological. - FARMHOUSE The building was built with natural materials (rock, lime, earth, hemp and wood), the furnishings and the floor are in wood treated with natural oils and ecological paints, the bed linen and blankets are in certified organic cotton and wool. The soaps and detergents are eco-friendly. - AGRICULTURAL CAMPING A wonderful terraced space with a breathtaking panorama has been created a few tens of meters from the main structure of the farmhouse to accommodate tents, campers, caravans, tiny houses and yurts, among dry stone walls and fruit trees of ancient varieties. - BIO POOL Our bio-pool uses a delicate natural purification and oxygenation system carried out by bacteria, plants, gravel and swirling water. A relaxation area for guests of the farmhouse - RESTAURANT Our kitchen offers a rich menu of healthy dishes produced with organic, seasonal and metro0 raw materials in accordance with tradition. A bar service is available. The real specialty is the self-sufficiency pizza.

The Autosufficienza Center is located on the path of the Ancient Via Romea Germanica. In addition to being able to follow this route, it is possible starting directly from the Center to access the paths that lead inside the Casentinesi Forest Park, many of which are also suitable for mountain bikes. 5 km from the Autosufficienza Center you can relax at the Terme di Bagno di Romagna. 3.5 km from the Autosufficienza Center you will find yourself in the small village of San Piero in Bagno with many restaurants serving typical Romagna and Tuscan cuisine (we are in the border area). The whole area is full of lakes immersed in the forest (Lago dei Pontini, Lago Lungo, Lago di Acquapartita), paths in the countryside, riding stables, adventure parks, waterfalls, rivers, farmhouses...
