Starry Meadow is a small adults only Glamping retreat . Our shepherds huts are romantic & cozy. Fully insulated, double glazed & heated . With great amenities (Wifi, TV, Microwave, toaster, kettle & fridge freezer) fully equip Kitchen / dinner . Each shepherd hut has it own private bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. ( no sharing toilets/showers) The Barbecue is gas operated and there is a fire pit and picnic seating area . Each Hut is positioned for total privacy with a country side open aspect view of the Norfolk country side. Surrounded by our rescue animals. We welcome vegans as we are not a working farm. Starry Meadow is located in the heart of an outstanding area of the Norfolk Broads National Park and near the stunning coast line. It is the perfect location to explore from. The accommodation is very rural and surrounded by far reaching country side views but only 10 mins to the stunning, deserted sand dune coastline and our local colony of sea lions . Starry Meadow is Home to rescued donkeys, cute piggies,chickens and Goats all in close proximity. Enjoy your accommodation whilst watching the animals. We offer various wellbeing therapies, chakra ,reiki, reflexology ,sound & crystal healing , tree bathing & yoga areas. Our animal therapies with our donkeys and piggies are great fun ,interactive and include a photo shoot & a recording of which we WhatsApp over to your mobile phone. Our therapies are all optional please enquire for more information. Central to beautiful historic towns such as Norwich City, the Georgian Town of Holt and the jewels of the Norfolk Coast Line villages Cromer and Sheringham. Starry Meadow is located near renowned stately Homes, where great events of British history took place such as Blickling Hall, Sandringham and Holkham Hall. Only 20 minutes away from one of Britain's oldest seaside resort towns, Great Yarmouth for all your seaside attractions including an indoor theatre circus dating back to 1903 the Hippodrome.

Hi my names Amanda and we Love attracting like minded people to Starry Meadow. Our very small little glamping retreat is for adults only and gives me the opportunity to interact with our guests offering well-being and spiritual therapies all optional . If you simply wish to visit and read a book and relax in peaceful surroundings with some star gazing it’s perfect too . Being a qualified therapist for many years I love helping others to find a balance of inner peace and to destress . So I decided I to share my beautiful surroundings once my family had grown up and concentrate on building a retreat of helping others to escape and rediscover ones self. My other passion in life is the love I have for animals. I have 6 beautiful rescued donkeys , that show unconditional love during our animal therapy sessions and two rather cute piggies that will make you chuckle whilst taking part in belly rubs and nose tickles. I love music and arts and crafts , so feel welcome to bring all your crafts along and musical instruments . It’s nice to here a gentle guitar and a beautiful folk song around the fire pit. An evening of a wonderful camp fire song can be arranged . I am fortunate to have a daughter who is a performer and loves to sing for our guests and sings a huge variation of music . So if it’s a special occasion and you would like arrange a sing a gram or even a favourite Disney Princess with a much loved Disney song this can be arranged. Your never too old to old . We have a saying here at our little hideaway! “ you arrive as our guests but you always leave as our friends “ We respect all our visitors privacy , so we are here if you need us and we offer a self service check in . All our therapies are optional and we are very happy if our visitors just wish to use the accommodation and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Starry Meadow is located in the heart of the Outstanding Area of Natural Beauty of the Broads National park and near the stunning coast line. The accommodation is very rural and surrounded by far reaching country side views, where wild life encounters are present. Our neighbourhood is safe and secure and the perfect place for walking and cycling with many scenic routes to various pubs and tea rooms . We are surrounded by open fields without another house in close proximity . We have bus routes from our village which take you to Great Yarmouth only 20 mins away and the City of Norwich also 20 mins away . Starry Meadow is in a fantastic location in the centre of the Norfolk Broads and the coast line. Day boat & paddle boarding, horse riding & surf boarding are close by. Our local village pub is a 15 min walk and is a nice flat easy walk. The Catfield Crown serves great ales and a hearty food menu. The nearest broad is Sutton Staithe with a nice pub on the river 3 mins drive and Hickling Broad with another nice pub on the river The Pleasure Boat Inn 10 mins drive . Both places have outside seating to enjoy refreshments. We have a beautiful open gardens in East Ruston 15 mins away and How Hill a Manor House on the river with a nice tea room is a wonderful walk or cycle ride to. During June the gardens are ablaze with colour and there is a woodland trail. We have a local colony of fab sea lions at Horsey Gap . Starry Meadow is Home to rescued donkeys, friendly Pigs, chickens and Goats which whom the guests have an opportunity to interact with if they wish to take part in the animal experiences on offer! We also offer various other wellbeing therapies from chakra , reiki, reflexology , crystal & sound healing ect However If you just wish to relax in peaceful surroundings and simply relax and read a book with a spot of star gazing , we respect your privacy at all times .
