Company information

The French-Danish host couple Gaëtan and Kristina will be in charge of your personal arrival. We will do our best to assure that you have what you need and give you all kind of information that you might require. We will open the reception every evening (except sundays), in order to give you information about restaurants, sport activities and cultural visits in the area or to propose "an aperitif" in the château courtyard. We will try to make your holiday as pleasant as possible.

Property information

The Château de la Motte is a old noble property located in an idyllic and natural environnement of 50 ha of grounds and on the outskirts of Marcorignan village (the Languedoc Region). Close to the Mediteranean sea and only some hours from the Spanish border. Here you can live in one of the charming terraced houses of the Château with view on olivetrees and wineyards. This small residence is managed by a French-Danish couple the artist-painter Gaëtan de Séguin des Hons and his wife Kristina. We will welcome you at Château de la Motte and do our best to assure that your stay will be as pleasant as possible.

Neighbourhood information

Your private Garden Every house has its own private garden with grill. The calmness is assured here. In the park it is possible to meet up with other guests - play petanque or swing in the shadow of a figuetree. The parents like to rest and laze in the private garden as the kids are happy to play with the other kids in the park. The Park The whole is integrated into six acres planted for the most part with pines, oleander bushes and olive trees. A swimming pool (12m x 6m warmed by solar energy), that is situated to allow for full exposure to the sun throughout the day, completes the picture. You will also find in the park: swings, a volleyball court, a basketball net, a table-tennis, a table football and you can learn to play the Southern French game of pétanque. This park is particularly well adapted for kids of every age. The security and large green spaces have been the basis of its conception.
