ASA Village is a hostel located in Nishimurogun Shirahama-city.

It is 14minute away from Shirahama beach and 3minute away by a car. It is 8minute away from Shirahama airport.

The building is partially renovated in July, the lobby has been transformed into a sophisticated space. It is a space where you can feel fusion of the old and new by reusing vessels that were no longer used in apparel stores.

The staff was happy with their smiles

we had a great time in Django and Tanabe ! we were six for two nights in the dorm and all went perfectly well. our host was waiting for us and helped prior coming with bus schedule, he has been very accommodating, thanks so much again. coffee and tea and fridge at disposal so we could have breakfast in the dorm on the table, very practical. laundry and drying is possible for a small fee. the hostel is 1 min from the station and buses to go to Shirahama. 15min to the beach. 2 min from a great bakery (bets bread I had in Japan and I’m a picky French), and across the road you have a very very good burger place.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Very friendly, small ryokan , great location just above Ginza street and easy walk to the beach. Traditional hotel, not renovated (maybe better that way?) but well maintained and clean. Way better than staying in a big concrete/eyesore hotel.

It’s a 90 years old building which was a souvenir shop. The grandson of the owner renovated it into a hostel in recent years. So there are very interesting vintage collections. You’ll get everything you need there, very nice bathroom, comfortable bedroom. Owner speaks good English and is very helpful. It’s next to the Sandanbeki entrance.

It's great location,, right next to shirahama beach and bus service. There' are no so many taxi, so next to bus stop is great 👍. There are also free shuttle buses, but in certain time only. Onsen is super cool, outdoor Onsen is a one natural .we didn't eat at hotel, but it easy to find nice food just along the street. We wish we could stay longer... The town is very quiet, many locals come during the weekends

Super-helpful host (has worked in Oz, so communication was easy). Well appointed with cooking facilities (though not used) & fridge/freezer access. Great location for exploring Shirahama - many restaurants nearby, beach, onsens & buses within easy walking distance. Recommended.
