Loved this hostel. The couple that runs this place are amazing people. They were very accommodating and were very patient when I tried to speak some Japanese with them. This place is a good alternative to staying in Osaka, as osaka hotels can be expensive and booked up. If we return to Osaka area, we will 100% stay here again. Beds are comfortable, very spacious dorms, kitchen has everything you need to cook, and plenty of bathrooms and showers. Enjoyed our stay very much

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

The hostel has really nice interior in what feels like a euro-Japan mix, nice kitchen, small sofa area where you can sit and read or put up your laptop, very charming bathroom with Japanese bathtub. The bunk beds are big and spacious with lots of room for your luggage. The neighbourhood is nice with lots of coffee shops and restaurants, about a 30min walk from the big shopping district.

Easily in the top 3 of all the hostels I stayed at. Lovely vibe, cool staff and guests, very clean and charming hostel (I actually really liked the train noises). Private rooms are spacious and relatively cheap. This is what every hostel should aspire to be

Great hostel location right in China town and a walking distance from Sannomiya. Second time staying there as it’s great on a budget and for one night. Female only dorms offered so I felt safe. Clean toilets and showers. Mirror in the dorm area which is useful.

Perfect choice for a short trip if you need to get by for a couple of days. Very cheap, a few minutes from Sannomiya station, clean, cozy, nice kitchen, friendly staff, comfortable beds with soft blankets and pillows, hot water in the shower, hairdryer, hangers, good wi-fi... overall, 10/10 for a hostel.

This place is for well mannered backpackers and not for selfish backpackers. For the price I paid, I definitely can't complain about the service I received. But the free breakfast was a nice surprise. Coffee was always available as well. The staff was easy to spend time with, they explained everything well at check-in and kept a reasonable distance after check-in. (Because in other hostels, some people talk to me too much)

It’s a guest house/hostel so of course your expectations should be set with that in mind. It was clean, interesting, good location, and the staff member was really kind. Compared to other hostels I’ve stayed in, the beds were very quiet. I’m a light sleeper so I was thankful for that. The bed was similar to a futon, which I prefer because it is what I sleep on in my apartment in Japan. I also felt safe as a solo female traveler. I recommend this place. If I go back to Kobe I’ll definitely stay again.

The beds in the dormitory are suuuper comfortable, the sound of the waterfall outside is gentle and non-invasive (for most people, I think), the small common room area is comfortable and clean, and the cafe attached to the hostel serves an absolutely lovely breakfast! This place is easily the cheapest AND best option to stay in all of Arima Onsen, so there's no reason to hesitate :)
