It is close to the main station, and the facilities are excellent. The staff was really friendly, they offered tips on what to see around the area, and made an effort to make small talk with me in japanese even though I only speak the language a little. There's a rooftop with amazing views of mount Fuji where you can relax and enjoy your meals/drinks, and you can rent their foldable bikes for free to visit the surrounding lakes.... Oh, and did I mention the free snacks? You get free snacks... Everything was amazing :)

The host Michi was extremely friendly, funny and flexible (and very accommodating)! Exploring Kawaguchiko and getting to its attractions (onsens, hikes, caves, etc.) without a car and only using public buses is not so easy, but Michi gave lots of good suggestions on how one could do so. The common area and the garden was very beautiful (see the photo attached!)

- The room was spacious. It can fit 2-4 people. It wws also Japanese Inspired with the traditional doors and tatami mats. - Amazing Mt. Fuji View from my room and the observatory. - Staff is very accomodating.

New accommodation, the staff is very friendly and helpful, they speak good english. There are bycicles free of charge. The room was spacious and clean. The futon very comfortable. The bathroom and toilet are shared and very clean.

We stayed in a beautiful twin room which was roomy enough for luggage, a small table and chairs. It included a full bathroom with a tub shower. The lounge area was comfortable and pleasant to hang out in. The kitchen facilities were comfortable enough so that someone could make simple meals for themselves. We traveled to the area by bus, and the bus stop was adjacent to the hostel. Just be careful watching the bus schedule, early and late times are not available. The location was terrific. We had great views of Fujisan, an enjoyable garden area along the lake, and miles of walking or biking path.

We loved our stay at Tocoro, staff was super friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. So, the bathrooms and shower rooms were Amazing! Defenitely a Place to reccomend for an enjoyable stay near Fuji-san area. Grazie!!

Everything was great, the host was very friendly and made us a delicious breakfast each morning. The location is great with very good access to train and bus. The views around the area are beautiful. I would recommend it.
