Great hostel, very close to the center but also the market where you can find the main bus stop to Tayrona. The customer service at the hostel was amazing! They were very helpful. They also agreed to keep our bags when we went to Tayrona for 4 nights. The place was very clean. I highly recommend if you just need to sleep there a couple of nights on your way to Tayrona or Minca.

I came here to concentrate and study and managed to do those. Really good Wifi and coffee available (free and paid nespresso machine). Rooms and beds are nice and bathroom/shower is big! In total I would definitely recommend the hostel.

Santa Marta the área isnt very safe nor has a lot going on so would be great if the upstairs bar offered more types of food or the restaurant downstairs opened later / served the people who are staying at the hostel upstairs however everything else was great and again, staff made the experience and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable.

Hammocks are fine and can be booked at the entrance (maybe don't take the cheapest one). Walk all the way and bring lots of water ;) There is a viewpoint on the way, don't miss it ~
