We were personally welcomed and after asking we were given beautiful recommendations for special shops and cafes. The room was absolutely lovely, we were stunned by the view and the location! Boasting a garden and views of garden, Abbey Court Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Carlisle, 38 km from Askham Hall. Kelly our host was very friendly. Our room was huge and spotless. My husband said it was one of the most comfortable beds he has ever slept in. We were only there one night but everything was great and breakfast included so exceptional value.
