It is in a park with lovely vistas. We will definitely be staying there again. Although breakfast was not included, the price at the restaurant was very reasonable and the meal was delicious - everything prepared to order. The staff and service was excellent and the room was perfect.

IRoom was comfortable and clean. Lodge was in a beautiful park setting with lots to see and explore right there. Lodge restaurant had a minimal menu but offered enough to satisfy our needs without having to leave.

We stayed 2 different nights, one on the way up to Wisconsin and once on the way home. While the first stay was better than the second, there were several things that could have gone better. The cabins have steep steps you have to navigate to get to you cabin, some are worse than others. When I made the reservations, I told them we had a special needs adult, you would think they would make sure she wouldn't have the steepest climbs, nope. Also, the walls of the cabins are wood and the cabins are cute, but they really needed a good dusting. There several items that didn't work either. Plug in the bathroom at one and the phone in the second. The can opener also did not work. Good thing we brought one! Most everyone was pleasant but I think the entire restaurant staff were mad during the second night. Overall, pleasant enough. Sadly, we likely won't be back.
