The tariff was very welcome. There was a good sized swimming pool with good surrounds. The rooms were well maintained. The young chap in charge on the afternoon I arrived managed to change me to a ground floor room - my being 72 - which was very helpful. The location was convenient for travelers being just off the Monaro Highway.

Clean and spacious bedroom, a little outdated bathroom, but clean otherwise. Good wifi with Chromecast connection to TV made it like at home stay for entertainment. Shops and restaurants within walking distance, great location.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Capital Country Holiday Park and we continue to enjoy it each time. Despite being a short distance from the city, it is very easy to enter the main part of Canberra by driving straight in. The combination of pool, jumping pillow, mini golf and tennis courts providing more than enough entertainment. The campfire and cooking facilities are also an excellent inclusion. The only thing we don't enjoy is the terrible tap water, but the ability to access rain water avoids any issues.
