Incredible experience, truly unique. The igloo is extremely comfortable and clean with wifi and good quality heating. It's was very windy when we stayed but the igloo felt very secure. The common area which contains the bathroom and showers was well equipped and was also very clean. Cannot recommend this enough our only regret was not staying an extra night.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Excellent communication with the host. Beautiful sunset from the balcony. We enjoyed our stay very much! Part of the road to get there is gravel road but it is mostly flat and nothing too bad.

We had 6 accomodations throughout our Iceland trip and this was by far the best one! very comfortable house, had everything you would need for a great stay. lots of shared space, good rooms, good water pressure. The host is such an amazingly warm person, we truly enjoyed the conversation.

Askot Cottages was by far the best accommodation experience we had in Iceland. The cabins are immaculately designed and everything is thought of - from Icelandic chocolate to a really decent coffee machine. But the best part is the beautiful view, that swinging chair, and the neighboring horses who came to visit. Greta was an amazing host and even let us pet the young (1 yr old) horses who were so sweet, and witness some of the training that they do on site. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

It was very clean. The communication with the host was great. Great amenities. A hot tub under the stars. And we even saw the northern lights from it. It was just a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Perfect location, with a panoramic view. We could even see the Northern Lights from the house. For us this was the perfect location to do the Golden Circle and part of the South Coast. The beds are large and comfortable, with a good duvet and extra blankets are provided. If you want you can also take a look at the horse stables and meet the owners, we did not do this, we came for the peace and the view, including the Northern Lights. Kettle, Senseo machine, dishwasher and even a washing machine are available. Perfect location for the two of you if you want to enjoy the peace and the view.

Nice wooden chalet overlooking the mountains in the distance. The house was spacious enough for our family of four. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Their dog and horses proved to be an amazing bonus for the kids.

Excellent location, bit away from the highway, nestled around farms & meadows, it had some of the best views to offer. All you need a book and sit by the sofa mesmerized by the views.
