I spent two nights here and everything was excellent. The owner was very kind and helpful. Also the traditional Japanese house was fantastic and shared spaces like the kitchen, shower room and toilet were very clean. This place surrounded by the small river, the garden and cute neighbor house. Check-in time also flexible if your room is ready. Even it's a bit far from the city but not complicate to go, just take the bus no.29. Before your arrival date, the owner will send you the message to guide you about the bus stop location to get on/off and it's very easy just follow his suggestion. This place is worth to come!!

We had a bed in the dorm and it was super comfortable. It also had a spacious lock for precious stuff. The staff was super kind and sweet, they recommended many good restaurants! The shower was good too and it has a great location (nearby the atomic bomb museum). It also has a small bar where we could meet other travelers and socialize. Overall, a very good place to stay at

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with valuable touring bicycles: they accommodated our request to store them inside. At the end of our stay, when we were struggling with transportation to the airport with all our gear, they went out of their way to find a solution. WOW!! What an amazing experience!

Coffee shops and restaurants near by. The room was lovely. Very comfortable and plenty of room to spread out. I loved the lounge by the windows. Very clean and quiet. We didn't have breakfast here but went to the komeda Cafe for an early cheap breakfast before catching the boat. The winter illuminations were fun to look at in the evening. They were just up the road from the hotel.

I stayed in a traditional styled room with tatami floors looking out to the yard and river. Kengo is such a great host and I really enjoyed chatting with him during my stay! Highly recommend.

Only a few people stayed on the nights I was there so it was lovely and quiet. It’s a very old building but they’ve got everything you could possibly need and the host is super lovely and welcoming. You have your own private room but very wonderful shared living room, kitchen space, bathrooms and toilets and a terrace. The guest house is very much a homestay and feels super comfortable. You can book a room with beds or with futons. It’s not super close to the city center but you do get the feeling of living in a genuine Japanese neighborhood. Staff was super friendly, quick to respond and helpful. I believe that backpackers will be super duper happy here.
