We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint English pub inn in the beautiful village of Upper Oddington. Just a short drive from Stow-on-the-wold, and other villages. The in-house restaurant served a delicious breakfast and a sophisticated evening meal. The owner and the rest of the staff were friendly and could not have been more helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and pleasantly decorated.

The staff are really friendly, the food was excellent and the ambience is relaxing and characterful. The room is like a tiny ship's cabin. Beautifully decorated with luxury velvet throw and cushions and a lovely little shower room. Perfect for one person but not for two; unless they're very much in the honeymoon phase. The location in the centre of Stow is perfect. So nice to visit a place where the staff really care. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

the staff were amazing. they had just experienced a kitchen fire three weeks before our arrival so unfortunately the dining room was closed. they took great care of us and made breakfast arrangements at a nearby hotel. we could just imagine what the ambiance would have been had they been fully operational. would love to return just to see how they are making out. one if the nicest and warmest experiences we have had.

Woodlands guesthouse was in a prime, yet quiet, location for exploring Stow, local villages in the Cotswolds and walks; unfortunately due to the storm we arrived in walking was not high on our list. The rooms were well furnished and cosey, with a great selection for breakfast. We found Amanda to be a lovely host that provides you with the information you need before leaving guests to it, yet has many stories of her own travels to share.
