The Villa du Square is a perfect place to weekend like a Parisian. A home from home. The host is charming, the furniture and art borrowed from his family homes, some of which belonged to Yves Saint Lauren. Breakfast was good, fresh coffee juice and croissants. We ate very well at a place round the corner. I can recommend a weekend walk through the Bois du Boulonge when the roads are closed to traffic and taken over by Parisian families at play. Alternatively walk the other direction to the Seine and stroll down past the Eiffel Tower.

In an old, charming building which has been modernised. Nicely located in the Le Marais district where there are quite some historical buildings to visit. Lots of chic shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Room is clean. Catherine the host is very helpful and responsive. We had been well taken care of.

It was the perfect location, just off the champs élysées, near Arc de Triumph. Family owned for almost 200 years! The owner is very friendly and the staff were wonderful. Continental breakfast of Pain au chocolat, croissants, du pain, juice, yoghurt and coffee. We had 2 rooms, both were clean, nice bathrooms and comfy beds. Rooms were larger than expected! Fabulous cafe downstairs - Owner Billy is very nice. Pharmacy, supermarket, liquor store and bar/restaurant opposite. The George V metro very close by on Champs Élysées. We came by Eurotrain, and took a taxi each way.

The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The position in the heart of Montmartre is excellent. Everything is nearby within walking distance. Views on the church from the apartment is wonderfull. The fridge and kitchen area was stocked with food for breakfast and a coffee machine with enough refills. Wish we could stay longer. Highly recommended place to stay.

Everything was good. It was easy to find the location, there were many metro lines near the place. Mösyö Maxine welcomed us. He can speak enough English. It is a villa house with a small garden and quiet environment. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. The breakfast was basic but delicious with croissants, bagels and fresh fruit with yogurt. He was serving boiled eggs. Mösyö Maxine is a very cheerful, polite and helpful host. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere was great. Merci Mösyö Maxine.

Notre Dame, Seine River, Louvre and other museums are all walking distance. Neighborhood is safe and the street is calm. In front of the place was a grocery store and at the end of the street a nice French bakery with friendly people. The place itself was clean, with an elevator and the host was very responsive to our needs. Ideal for our family of 4. Highly recommended.

The room was quiet--as I requested--with a small balcony and lots of light and windows. The staff in particular were stellar and went out of their way in assisting me with a few issues that came up, unrelated to the hotel. They were friendly and went out of their way to assist. The only thing I would have liked was a better rate...but it is Paris and the location is ideal. In times past, pre-Pandemic, rates were a wee bit better. All in all, a pleasant stay.
