Sophia and Luc are warm, generous people. not only did Sophia provide a wonderful welcome, on my way out they both came and rescued me from a flat tire and changed it for me!

This Luxury Tent Room has a private entrance with an open plan room with a Double Bed and bathroom with shower. The Luxury Tent Room shares balcony with beautiful views. We stayed at Harmony in the off season and we were actually the only ones there. Apart from the beautiful tent and view from the tent, we could see so many starts and the entire milkiway from our balcony, which was mesmerizing. Apart from all of that Mike is a very nice host and we had some good talks, he made us lovely dinner and breakfast and helped us if needed and provided recommendations and directions.

We stayed in Pod 1. We highly recommend the Pods for a truly unique experience. the lodge is beautiful but spending the night on the mountain is unmatchable. It’s a 40 minute drive from the Lodge to the Pods but it’s spectacular.

Offering free toiletries and bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. The view from the mountains is amazing. There is a nice pool and relaxing area. We had a dinner also with this view. The rooms are pretty, all made us to feel good!! We had a small Kia Picanto rental car, very small one. Luckily it was not rainy season, so it was no problem to go up with this car, we had to drive slow and carefully and all was fine!!! The hotel is not far from Addo National Park, so before heading there we made a 2 hour driving from the northern entrance of the park and we saw many elephants and other animals.

The Port Elizabeth Airport is 88 km away.... Everything was perfect. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our Ranger, Mnoni, was incredible: willing to go the extra mile, knowledgable & humorous. The room was incredible, always cleaned to perfection. The food was simple but delicious. The setup was just wonderful!

Located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve, Woodbury Tented Camp offers an authentic outdoor experience in safari tents. The camp overlooks the ancient floodplain of the Bushmans River. That it was a conservation and there was space for animals and research.

Situated in the Amakala Big Five Game Reserve, Bush Lodge offers an intimate lodge experience. It features an outdoor swimming pool, viewing deck and a number of game drives and bush walks. We had three fantastic days at Amakhala Game Reserve, Bush Lodge. The tents were very comfortable and the food very good. The game drives were amazing. Our game driver Jono did a super job. very enthusiastic, very knowledgeable information given during the drives and he was fantastic at spotting the animals and very dedicated to making sure we saw as much and varied as possible.

Furnished with a colonial theme, this tent features a terrace and patio with panoramic views overlooking the garden, mountains and the Indian Ocean. This place is truly a 10 out of 10, I've been on this Earth for 33 years and have not been to such a magical place. Everything from the owners to the staff to the lodge and of course of the zebras in his beyond your comprehension. I would highly recommend anyone to go out of their way to experience what we experienced. I have stayed at hotels that cost over $1,000 a night and this one is by far the most magical. This place tells a story of a couple who wanted to live a life by their own means and share it with the world.

This luxury tent features a private deck with panoramic views of the reserve. It comes with tea -and-coffee-making facilities, a fan and safety deposit box. Everything was done superbly well. From the service, to the food, to the decor and creature comforts. Wildlife at the watering hole behind the main house is plentiful - we even saw elephants and rhinos there. The safari tent style rooms are well spaced, oversized and well appointed. Special shout out to the guides that took us out 7-9hrs a day on drives and bush walks. Incredible experience overall.
