Nothing was too much trouble for Danny our smiling host. Modern and character beautifully combine in this property. Everything is as described plus a cool new BBQ area. Immaculately clean, cool and quiet indoors. Generous breakfast was a bonus. We really enjoyed the June blueberry harvest and would not hesitate to return.

A great stay in a country side in Northern Portugal. We wanted a place that is quiet, scenic and comfortable as we were bit bored in the city. For that, this newly opened hotel was a perfect choice. And we learned about a great history of this place- that it was built and used as “inns” during the Roman period - very cool experience! (Probably the oldest building that I have ever stayed lol ) Yet, the hotel just opened so everything was new, and modern. Also, the breakfast was fantastic. Great host too. I’d definitely revisit for a longer stay next time!

Excellent location, amazing staff, superb breakfast. If you love nature a best place to stay and Rue is a true gentleman who went extra mile in customer services and waited for us till 0130 as our flight was delayed and rental car got messed up by the provider. He briefed us about the location and area and ensured our stay was comfortable was always available to help. The kitchen staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

Then again, the North of Portugal is all about nature and taking the views, sights and smells in our own time. The facilities are well looked after and clean. The rooms are very spacious and carefully decorated. There are 2 pools we didn’t get a chance to use but they looked like a nice way to cool on hot summer days. Lovely and unique farm experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Francisco could not have been a more welcoming, accommodating, and friendly host. We met his son who was also an absolute pleasure. They were also so kind to receive both of our dogs on our stay. We very much enjoyed the fresh, organic breakfast.

The staff went above and beyond for us, so friendly, accommodating and generous. Great company, fantastic room, beautiful grounds and pool, comfy four poster bed and the breakfast was spectacular. Couldn't fault it and we will definitely be back for a winter escape as we could imagine in the cold, with the fires lit, it would be so cozy and atmospheric. We absolutely loved it.CathyYoung couple
