The breakfast was amazing - really delicious! We weren't able to take advantage of the various program / class / group offerings but really wished we could have to meet more people. We liked how we could get dropped off directly in front of the hotel and not have to walk up any stairs or through a long winding path to get there. The rooms were simple and still had everything we needed. The staff was really helpful and welcoming, giving us ideas and advice on a number of questions we tourists had.

Perfect for a day trip in Chefchaouene. We paid £12 for the room; where we could store our bulky rucksack and take a shower (after a long coach trip from Fes). The location was perfect (heart of the Medina)

Terrible experience at this hotel, the owner tried to charge me an extra 20€ because there were 2 people in a room instead of one, whereas on Booking the price difference between one and two people is only 3€. Getting to the hotel is very complicated; there's a very steep climb and the last 50 meters are a dirt path. The breakfast was the worst I've ever had in Morocco. Avoid this place.

It is a more laid back place compared with where we had come from in Morocco ie. the bustling city of Fez -So we instantly felt more relaxed! We mostly enjoyed exploring by walking at our own pace in this pretty town in the mountains. We enjoyed views from rooftops and from the top of the Kasbah. We had good meals- one at the main square a restaurant called Twins which was great for people watching and to see the entertainers! Also the other restaurant we went to twice was called Cafe Clock where there was live music every night and the staff were very helpful and interested in chatting with us..

Picturesque town with lots of photo opportunities and hiking directly out of town. Smallish, but fun Medina which is full of steps and alleys you can get lost in, but easy to get out of as well. A bit touristy but souks are not pushy at all.

Scenic, but lots of tourists (including us!) most handicrafts for sale did not appear to be of high quality; however, some rugs looked quite nice but I didn’t have the capacity (room) to consider purchasing any.

the road up to it is in a terriable state and th elighting is very poor.
If you go in the winter then its just another rainy town.
Lots off ferrel dogs about pulling bins over in search of food and leaving the place less than desirable. Of which the locals were happy about.
So my advice do not go in winter

The colors of the city , the houses are beautiful. the shopping is great and nobody harasses you. Love the mountains and all the good restaurants. There is a Chinese restaurant there, la petite chengdu, that was really good. Walking up and down many steps is a must, if you visit and not avoidable, if you want to see the town.

Chefchaouen was a wonderful city to explore and it was beautiful! It is an easy space to wander around and explore the hidden nooks. We highly recommend getting a Moroccan Hammam and using it as a base for hiking in the Rif mountains.
Best place I've stayed in Morocco.
The bed was so comfy I haven't slept that good for a while. The bathrooms were clean and had nice hot showers.
The breakfast was delicious and sooo big.
The hotel is in the heart of the blue city, right next to the big square and yet very quiet.
It was raining and they still managed to clean my clothes and have it dry for the next day, free of charge.
The nicest people are taking a great care of their guests! I'll be back. Thank you so so much
Al Kassaba is the best place you can stay in Chefchauon!
I loved everything about this little hotel. The owner and the owner's son were so helpful, kind and generous. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and you can tell a lot of time was spent creating this stunning place. The location is perfect and you are in the heart of The Blue City but also close enough to catch a taxi to the bus station.
I will definitely come back here to stay next time I'm in Chefchauon!
I really ♥️ that place ! This boutique hotel is in the heart of Chefchaouen next to the blue Medina. It is of amazing and charming traditional architecture with bright colors and with Moroccan tiles, the roof terrace overlooking mountains and town. Amazing comfortable room with everything we needed and pristine clean 😃.
The staff was amazing, welcoming & friendly, helped us with our boarding passes. We definitely come back to this place and stay for longer 🤗❣️
The hotel room was exactly what I expected of a budget hotel — clean enough, and spacious, with two separate rooms and a private bathroom with a shower. A nice touch was that the shower had a curtain so water didn’t get all over the bathroom, which is a rarity in Morocco! The shower had good water pressure and consistent hot water, and the bed was comfortable. And the location, very close to the main door of the medina, was absolutely perfect.
Amazing! Staff go above and beyond! The perfect mix of traditional and modern. Great vibes from the interior design, definitely a Boho picture perfect hotel!
Also, the breakfast is gorgeous! And I have to admit, the moroccan Tea that accompanied the breakfast was the best we’d tasted in morocco.
Super happy with this place.
P.s, highly recommend waking up early to watch the sunrise on the roof balcony they offer! Breath taking ☺️
The staff was fantastic. Lotfi was so interesting to talk to and had so much great info. I liked the location of the hotel. Wires got crossed somewhere when I booked and the reservation showed 2 instead of 4 guests, and the superior bungalow with 6 beds that I booked only had 4 beds - not sure why, but it’s all good! I’d try something else in Chefchaouen next time for the value.
Possibly the best value places I have ever stayed.
For a low price we had a nice room, in a location just away from the main square, with great breakfast enjoyed on the roof.
Early check in was facilitated.
Breakfast was one of the best that we had in Morocco despite that this was much cheaper accomodation than anywhere else we stayed.
This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Morocco so far. The facilities are so nice and comfortable. And especially the manager Aziz and the receptionist Mouad were really kind and helpful. I got a lot of great information about traveling in Chefchaouen. I highly recommend travelers should stay at this hotel.
At Cultural Morocco Tours, we consistently book this hotel to our guests, and it never disappoints. Situated close to the main square, the location is ideal in the blue town. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the service and comfort provided are top-notch. We highly recommend it for an outstanding stay.
Everything! The staff were so friendly and kind. The room was beautiful, and filled with artisanal details that made it very magical. The shower was awesome!! I’ve never been more happy with a hotel stay - highly recommend.
This hotel is just outside the medina on the side of a mountain. It’s an easy five minute walk to the main square and lots of restaurants. It’s very quiet Noor, the innkeeper, was very gracious and helpful. …
As a Cultural Morocco Tours operator, and according to our experience and our dealings with most hotels, we admit that this is one of the best stay that you can find when visiting Chefchaouen..
The location was great! The staff were really nice , especially Yasin who helped us a lot with directions , the bathroom that was in moroccon style was really pretty, breakfast was very tasty
Very noisy guests and surrounding streets/neighborhood. Wouldn't recommend. Too many large groups with general noise and congestion throughout the hotel and facilities.
Extremelly nice host, picked us up from the parking so we didnt get lost. Wonderfull breakfast on the terrace, perfect location inside the medina. Best hotel in morocco!
The hotel is a cute place with some good views from the patio. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Also a great location at almost the end of the Medina.
