It had a power back-up solution for load shedding. There is a car garage to park the car away from the elements or to store stuff that one doesn't want carry into the house.

The interior design was immaculate and the house itself was accurately represented in the pictures we saw, perhaps even better. The bathrooms and scented diffusers were amazing.

On arrival at the villa, the cleaners had done a thorough job. Our host, Louis had gone the extra mile kitting out the unit with full Dstv, wi-fi and a UPS to run both, as well as lights all over the unit which were clearly marked. The outdoor lounge and additional outdoor dinning room table by the built in braai/barbeque were a big plus. We were even greeted with chocolates on our pillows and the kitchen was kitted with additional thoughtful items such as dishwashing pods and other cleaning items. Louis was also very helpful with giving us multiple options of various restaurants to visit in the surrounding area. We will definitely be back again.

I loved my stay here on the Larnaco Estate. It's a very safe, quiet and upmarket residential area and easy to get into Durban and back by car making it a great base for the city. The room was very comfortable, and I loved the "Cape Cod" decor throughout. Neil and Gerda were amazing hosts, really salt-of-the-earth type of people, and it was a pleasure to have met them. Thank you for a wonderful stay 😁

La Villa Songo, Estuary Country Estate se encuentra en Port Edward, a 1,6 km del faro de North Sand Bluff y a 5 km del parque acuático Wild Coast Water World, y ofrece terraza y vistas al jardín. Location was great. Accommodation and facilities were superb and we felt relaxed and comfortable. Having wifi was perfect too. We had an issue with one of the loo handles and even though we didn't mind (there are 2 other bathrooms), Simone came around with someone who fixed the problem.

The property was situated on the an estate. House is very spacious and has all the necessities of a home. Large rooms opening onto large balconies to watch the sunrise and look at the beautiful view and see. access to the beach is walking distance. a beautiful braai facility. perfect for a group or family. Even load shedding was not a problem, there were lights in each room and a gas stove.

The property had everything that's promised to be there, even some items that were so useful that we were not expecting to find it there. Lucinda was always available wherever we needed her.
