Crotto Di Somana is a jewel scarfed in between Como Lake and the mountains, in a very peaceful place, with a fantastic view, and at the same time pretty close to the village. Set at an altitude of 750 metres, the Fonte Di Mariella has rooms with exposed-beam ceilings and tiled floors. Each comes with free internet and a private bathroom with soft bathrobes. Friendly and highly competent staffs, amazing local food for very reasonable price (btw, free buffet breakfast !), beautiful scenery. The road to get there is a bit difficult (20 mins of many "tornante"), but it's totally worth it. The whole stay was a real treat for our soul, our body (especially our stomach).
