The view was amazing, the breakfast was equally amazing. Best hotel/B&B breakfast I have had in a long time. The host was also super helpful for all our questions and really flexible for us.

The hosts, Terri and Robert, were fantastic. We asked for their advice on things to do and they set us up for a great 3 night stay with wineries and meals to die for. The newly renovated space has old world charm with all of the modern conveniences. I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Laguardia.

Terrific property in a lovely rural location yet only 30 min drive to ferry port. Spacious room with large fully equipped communal kitchen. Hosts super friendly and helpful. Dog loved it too!

Boasting a garden, barbecue facilities and views of mountain, El Tejado de Santa Ana is situated in Barrika, 1.7 km from Barrikako Beach. Everything! It’s a beautiful house in a great spot with breathtaking views. We were pampered with good food and lots of attention.

Featuring garden views, SOLOA LANDETXEA provides accommodation with patio, around less than 1 km from Bakio Beach. The room was very comfortable, especially the beds. The hotel is located right next to the road but it was very quiet (our room faced the backyard). The common dining area was cozy, clean, and well-maintained. Our host Sarai received us warmly. We are very grateful to Sarai for giving us good advice on visiting Gaztelugatxeko Doniene and other cities in the Basque region. We had a great stay.

Set in Arrasate - Mondragon, Casa rural Goiko Errota landetxea offers a shared lounge. The property has mountain and city views, and is 24 km from Sanctuary of Arantzazu. I stayed for 5 nights here during my cycle adventure in Spain. I can’t recommend this hotel any more highly. Absolutely superb facilities with lovely coffee and patisseries and cake for the guests. The breakfast was very good every morning and the owner Karmele went above and beyond to make me feel welcome in her hotel. I would highly recommend Karmeles hotel and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Karmele for a great break !

Offering quiet street views, CASA RURAL LARRAZURIA ENEA is an accommodation situated in Labastida, 39 km from Izki-Golf and 43 km from Mendizorroza Stadium. Excellent accommodation, cannot fault it. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is brilliant for exploring the countryside around.

La Casa DelBelga in Muskiz provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a terrace. This country house offers free private parking and a housekeeping service. I stayed here for one night during my Camino del Norte pilgrimage. The accommodation is not directly on the Camino but the 15-minute detour was definitely worth it - what a lovely place! You can tell that the accommodation is run with a lot of love and attention to even the smallest details. Both my room and the common areas were beautiful, very clean and spacious. I would also like to mention the incredible owner - she made me feel welcome straight away and even took me to the nearest supermarket after a long day on the Camino! Once again, thank you. 😊 I would definitely come back!
