Breakfast was awesome. Room was plenty big enough to accomodate our international luggage. Staff were lovely. And bonus bus stop out the front! And the bathroom was good - grab handles are very important for older customers like us.
Ideally situated in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Mountain View, our boutique hotel is a 4.5 miles from Shoreline Amphitheatre, and 4.9 miles from Google Headquarters.

We were not informed of the breakfast times when we arrived and so when w3 came down next morning breakfast was finished. They did get us fruit juice and allow us to grab some fruit. Lovely hotel in terms of decor and comfort but not up to the standard in terms of breakfast and staff that you would get in Uk, or Europe. Breakfast served on paper plates.

We are from Connecticut and often visit our son who lives in Saratoga. We have stayed in several hotels in various locations in the Bay Area and found Mountain View to be most centrally located to everything we want to do during our visit.
The city looks fun and vibrant. There are tons of restaurants with every food type we like to eat (we love good food.) We highly recommend Mountain View for travelers visiting the Bay Area.

It is mostly a place for people to stay if their child is at Stamford or they have business in the tech field around there, or saw a show at the Shoreline and didn't want to drive home. No one goes there for fun, it is mainly a bedroom community and very pretty.

Mountain View is a secret gem of the Bay Area. There’s lots of cool spots to eat and drink. It feels unpretentious and down to earth, has culturally diverse food offerings, bars, bookstores and is walkable.

The stay was awesome.
The stay was awesome. The only problem we had was the TV, for those who are not techies it is a little complicated. Found a great Italian Restaurant just down the street. Cucina Venti. We were able to walk to the Shoreline Ampitheatre to see a concert.

Mountain View is a beautiful part of the Bay area.
Mountain View is a beautiful part of the Bay area. The downtown section on Castro Street had a nice pedestrian mall and a dizzying array of restaurants to choose from. We could have stayed two weeks and not patronized all of them. Convenient to Moffett Field and the Shoreline Amphitheater.

Beautiful leafy town with walkable Downtown and great selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Two train lines and plenty of buses make it easy to get around without a car. Computer History Museum and Googleplex are great places to visit especially for geeks!
Location was good from the perspective of being in central Silicon Valley, if you have a car. As a visitor without a car, then options were rather limited, although there were shops and some restaurants within easy walking distance.
The hotel was rather basic, but very clean and the staff were universally excellent and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable with an enormous TV, if that's important to you! Tea and coffee machine in the room, which was good.
Great room, really big, very comfortable and clean. Great living and kitchen area with all the facilities. Breakfast upstairs in the main reception area was interesting - DYI waffle makers, hot breakfast options and juices. Appreciated the reception being able to store our cases for a day when we were travelling down the coast. This motel also provides secure lock boxes at reception, which seemed to be a rarity in the US!

- Reception staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Room was a good size. It had a comfortable bed, a lounge/TV area with a large couch and a decent sized desk. Wifi was stable and fast enough to have video conference calls.
- Swimming pool and jacuzzi was a great way to relax after a stressful day in the office.
It's a new place or well renovated, so all facilities look nice and room design was good. Location is also great, next to the highway exit in Mountain View and not far from a restaurant district. All in all - hotel delivers everything it promised, with a good quality.
What we really liked about walking into the Hotel we were greeted as soon as we walked in. The front desk staff two ladies very sweet. I wish we would have got there names. The rooms are very nice modern. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub or gym.
-Hotel exceeded expectations
-Great, large room
-Clean
-Comfy bed and variety of pillow types to choose from
-Wonderful breakfast variety, better than typical Continental 😋
-Secured parking for safety
The cost. The layout of the room. The easy booking. The ease of checking in. The front staff was very informative. The breakfast was great. Overall, one of our best stays in a Bay Area hotel.
I liked having the refrigerator and microwave in the room and free access to the breakfast
The hotel is very near the Caltrain station, good for access to Stanford, San Francisco etc.
VERY close to conference location.
"Instant" breakfast - instant oatmeal, hot chocolate... but if this is saved my $40-80/night compared to other hotels, then I am fine with that.
Stayed at a lot of hotels on a recent road trip, and this hotel was one of the best values. The customer service was excellent, and the rooms were nice. Would recommend!
location is pretty good to quickly get to meeting places in Mountain View/Sunnyvale area. There are shops and (fast food) restaurants just a minute walk away.
Anytime we go to ok a concert at the Shoreline we book our room at Ameswell. The hotel is clean, modern, comfortable, and a very short distance to the venue.
