Excellent excellent choice of items on buffet, very friendly staff in the dining hall and the cook had the biggest smile in all of Tunisia, lovely reception staff (well versed in english, arabic and french). You must head to the Medina.
You must head to the Medina. It is a maze of narrow streets and packed with shoppers. The stroll in there alone is an experience.
Expect to be pestered a little but just walk on if you don't want to be invited into the little shops to buy something. It's a fun experience.
Try a Brik. It's a fried doughnut which is just delicious and cheap.
The people are generally incredibly friendly and curious but be aware of the odd gentlemen who claims to work night security at your hotel and starts to accompany you around the medina. This happened to me 3 times by 3 different men. They have the same story.

Tunis is a great place to experience Arab culture tempered by French finesse. It is easy to get around the city on foot, tram or taxi. Lots to see and do. It is also not far from other amenities and historic sites.

The medina is an interesting way of spending a couple of hours with a nice cafe above where you can look over Tunis. Taxis are the best way to travel around and there are plenty. Lots of places to eat. I think as a tourist in Tunis you just need to beware of
being ripped off by being over charged at almost every point. Other than that it’s a very interesting place to visit and actually very cheap!!

Tunis can be a gem for a visit in itself and a great starting point for day-trips to other destinations within easy reach. Some caution should always be in order when walking around the city, trying not to stand out like the tourist who has just arrived that very morning and taking care not to show any valuables.
Taxis are great to move around, as they are incredibly cheap, and the drivers are usually honest and helpful.
Do not hesitate to try the food of even some less than glamorous establishments, as you will often find excellent dishes there at a very low cost and with very hospitable hosts.

Tunis is a vibrant city with a rich history dating back to...
Tunis is a vibrant city with a rich history dating back to the 2nd millennium BCE. The city has been controlled by Phoenicians, Romans, Arab Muslims, the Ottomans, the Spanish, the French, and the Germans, finally achieving independence as the capital of Tunisia in 19561. The medina is a network of narrow alleyways, mosques, mausoleums, palaces, and a souq where shoppers haggle over the price of everything from filigreed gold to inexpensive souvenirs1. If you’re looking for places to stay, eat, or things to do in Tunis, you can check out the reviews on Tripadvisor.
I hope this helps!
Wonderful hotel with an amazing staff. I have been there several times and the quality remains very high.
In addition, the hotel is very well located, not far from the malls of Tunis and steps away from several restaurants and coffees.
The director is a very professional manager, always present for the customers by himself.
The staff is very helpful specially in the frontdesk.
Breakfast and room service are amazing and very tasteful !
I highly recommand this hotel and I will probably go there again and again for each travel to Tunis.
Hotel location excellent, walking distance to many sites in Tunis on everyone's bucket list, Medina, Mosques, Markets, cheap restuarants as well as more expensive ones, the Hotel Manager was great and arranged pick up from Airport and helped with any issues, always with a smile. Taxi's are reasonable, but use meter always. Area was safe to walkaround late at night. Tunisia generally felt safe everywhere...
Room was spacious and comfortable, Great hot shower with good pressure. Would stay again...
Great location, walking distance to city centre, and so many shops around; it’s also easy to get taxis to airport which is like 10 minutes away (traffic can get congested during peak hours though).
Although the hotel is located in a busy street, it is pretty quiet inside, can barely hear the outdoor noise. The room I stayed in was beautiful, clean and comfortable and staff were pleasant and helpful.
Loved the breakfast which was tasty and had a variety of different foods.
The place is well situated. It is 20mins walk from the TMG metro station, 5mins walk to a Monoprix, 10mins walk to Tunis de Gare (Barcelone station), and 2-5mins from the gate of Medina. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was simple and good. Wifi was decent. The most important part is the people at reception were very helpful, gave me useful tips on how to take Lougage (shared taxi) for example to reach to Dougga. They were polite and kind.
Location perfect. Very friendly staff (M. Marwa, Mr.Khalil ). All did their best to ensure everything was top notch and gave much needed information about whereabouts even on food. The beautiful upgrade was a very nice gesture . Close to a lot of shops &cafes, but still quite with nice views on the lake and mountains. Tunisia mall is near. Easy to reach old Medina, sidibousaid, & Carthage . Comfortable bathrooms. Friendly staff everyone especially Aziz,Isam.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Unbelievably Spacious rooms, super comfy beds, excellent staff. Truly a 5 star experience! The location is right on the edge of the medina and near one of the main squares. They also have a rooftop bar with stunning views of the city and also a restuarant directly across from it that is regarded as one of the best in the city. The perfect place to stay in Tunis.
Hospitality was next level! A family run business that knows how to treat the customer well. My friend and I were upgraded to the suit and it was a phenomenal experience. We had to leave before breakfast was served but luckily the hotel accommodated and brought us breakfast at 4am! Got good sleep and delicious meal before a flight. Perfect location to the airport!
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at this hotel. Despite its affordable rates, the quality exceeded my expectations. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the staff went above and beyond to assist me during my stay. If you're planning a short trip to Tunis, this hotel is an excellent choice that offers great value for your money. Highly recommended!
The location of the hotel is unbeatable. Literally a street away from the main avenue in Tunis. The rooms are spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the shower really powerful.
I got the room I asked for which was nice and overall, the staff I encountered were very polite, especially the cleaners and the security officers at the main entrance.
It's an impressively decorated hotel, well placed for the medina and places to eat and drink. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we had a minor problem with the bathroom in the the first room we stayed in, they moved us to a bigger room at no extra cost. The breakfast was good, filling and tasty.
I'd stay here again if in Tunis.
The hotel was perfectly placed for an overnight stay to connect to an international flight. They arranged a driver to pick me up and drop me off at the airport. Dinner was wonderful and breakfast, just as good. The staff were SUPER accommodating and organised a driver to take me to Carthage for my brief but fulfilling morning in Tunis.
I like that this hotel is cozy, comfortable, great staff, and it's very clean and food is just Amazing. The atmosphere is very friendly and nice. In the city centre but it's quite and close to many historical places, actually the hotel itself has a lot of history and witnessed main events happened in Tunis...
I like the confidence inside the hotel and also the safety, the staff really so welcoming and front disk Mr. Mohammed he is so friendly and helpful and his team as well whatever i need he is helping well so if i will go back i can stay at the same place
Hotel was okay. Bed was comfortable. Had dinner in the buffet was cold and expensive for Tunisia. Had an early flight the next morning. Went for breakfast at 6:00 a.m. no coffee or yesterday's. Most of the food was cold. Nice staff. Hotel is okay
It was nice to have a tradionally Tunisia breakfast, but it would of been nice to have a buffet style, felt sometime the breakfast took to long to come out. The hotel was in an excellent location right in the middle of the Medina
Everything, from the hygiene to the staff to the food to the facilities available, everything was great, the hotel is near the city center AND the airport.
A great stay will definitely come back
