We all loved the place, the location, the awesome view, private balcony with communal terrace and the vibe of the place
I can’t really not mention the absolutely great host who was very welcoming, attending and got out of his way to help us and all the other guests

Bellagio is such a cute town. I recommend staying there just for a day and then visiting the other small towns around it with the ferry. It is quite expensive compared to other cities but the landscapes and views are worth it.

Bellagio was by far the best village/town to stay in on Lake Como. Shopping, restaurants, bars, cafes were excellent. The streets were fantastic, and very photographic. Ferries were easy to catch to other parts of the lake. Sitting outside the Sports cafe bar near the church as a daily ritual to sip caffe or a Aperol Spritz.

Bellagio has the perfect location in Lake Como in order to visit other places around the lake. It is very picturesque and unique. It is much better than Como to stay during your trip since it's not a big town but rather a very beautiful village. The only problem is the road leading there, which is rather narrow, but this is the case for the whole of Lake Como. The alternative is moving around by boat.

The restaurants and bars and narrow lanes were great.
The restaurants and bars and narrow lanes were great. The lanes are mostly steep climbs so be fit or stop in a bar half way! Just out of town is the Alle Darsene di Loppia, very good restaurant.
Cars are generally excluded from the town centre so if you have your own car you need to make sure you can get to your accommodation. And if you have a car you need to be bold when driving, because the local Italians can fit a car through a tiny gap, at high speed, and you must do the same to get anywhere. Trust them and enjoy the ride!
The ferry trips around Lake Como were great - you can explore a lot of beautiful old towns from the ferry.

We loved Bellagio!
We loved Bellagio! we also spent a day in Varenna (via ferry) - quieter, but just as charming. Take the tour of the Melza Villa there (the interior plus gardens). Note that for all of the Villa tours, all accessible by public ferry, order your tickets well in advance because day of they will all be sold out. Bellagio and Varenna are similar in that both are built into the side of an Alp, and the "cross streets" all require navigating a hundred or more stairs. Folks who live there don't seem to notice, but in the hot sun we were sure stopping every ten stairs to rest. We just randomly picked "cute" restaurants and enjoyed every one.

Bellagio was a perfect 2 night stay.
Bellagio was a perfect 2 night stay. Our visit was in autumn but there were still lots of tourist. It has easy access via ferry to many of the other villages around Lake Como for day trips. Bellagio has many restaurants, shops and places for short walks.
The host was friendly, accessible and helpful. The location was excellent, right in the centre of old town Bellagio. It was near the ferry terminal which allowed us to easily visit other towns and locations on Lake Como. There was a good view of the lake and surrounding mountains in this very picturesque setting. A wide choice of restaurants and bars was within metres of the front door. Shops providing the basics were also very close with convenient opening hours. The apartment was very clean on arrival.
The hotel is very cosy, with only a few rooms and a lovely garden with a pool outside. The hostess is super friendly, she gave us tips on what to do in Bellagio as well as recommended day trips for us to do around lake como. She was very knowledgeable and helped us a lot, especially on which attraction is open or closed each day and how to get there. We didn’t book breakfast because we were on a hurry in the morning, but it looked great, as it’s served in the garden with an amazing view of lake como.
Views are incredibly stunning! You have almost the entire view of lake como, bellagio, cadenabbia and menaggio. Plenty of room outside to roam around and to read and sip on your morning coffee with that amazing view. There is also a very nice pool and apartment was spacious equipped with a kitchen, nice bathroom and bedroom. It is also only a 30min walk from the centre of bellagio. I would highly recommend il poggio di bellagio - you can easily make a holiday of just staying at the accommodation.
Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations! It is within steps off the ferry, having an amazing lake front and yet a bit off to the side off all the action, a semi-private location. We were lucky to stay in the room with the terrace , what else can one wish for staying in lake Como ! Breakfast at the hotel was really delicious, light and perfectly cooked. The most welcoming, helpful and responsive team at the hotel made our stay an unforgettable one!
The hotel is in a nice, perfect location. The area is really beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was super clean, comfortable, quite big and well equiped. There was no shutter on the windows so if you want to stay in bed for a long time without sunshine it’s worth to bring a sleepingmask with you. ;) The breakfast was super delicious. The hotel is highly recommended for a visit at Lake Como.
The most wonderful place to stay. The accommodation was definitely worth visiting and the host Bruno was beyond amazing and helpful as I have rarely experienced before. The room was beautiful decorated with paintings and very clean.
At the same time it was very affordable and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s visiting Bellagio at Lake Como in Italy.
incredibly beautiful! our room was huge and the bathroom was huge with a beautiful rain shower and hand held. Our room opened to the patio with beautiful roses and the view of Lake Como was breathtaking!
Breakfast by Chef Luigi was absolutely the best and he baked the most delicious apple, nut and ricotta tortes! eEery item was delicious, the best breakfast in Italy‼️
It had a elevator to access upper floors, and Air Conditioning!
Very bright and clean, with everything we needed (except shampoo). Bed was comfortable.
Access to a garden to relax or picnic, with a view of Bellagio and Lake Como. (A Short climb up a path )
We were met by Ida, and explained everything.
Information provided regarding places to eat and shop near by.
The view over the Lake Como is unique. The breakfast was very good as well, with multiple choices and delicious. The interaction with the staff was great. The room was clean. Overall we enjoyed very much our stay and there is a real value for money considering the high endocation and that the hotel is rated only with 2 stars. Really recommend for a trip in Bellagio.
Hotel Belvedere is an absolutely beautiful hotel. We stayed for our honeymoon and had a beautiful room with two balconies looking out over Lake Como and the mountain - it was breathtaking! The pool area was beautiful and the spa had just opened the weekend we stayed and that was also lovely to relax in. The staff were so welcoming and all were very friendly!
Meet and greet by owner! Alberto gave us all the tips and maps of the area upon arrival. They had stocked the kitchen with food, coffee, water and everything you need to start your trip. Their house was immaculent and clean and had an amazing view of Lake Como. The house was beautiful and the neighborhood bakery and restaurants were wonderful.
This accommodation was incredible as was the host! The apartment was super clean and had unbelievable views. Bellagio was just a short 25 minute walk away with access to the whole lake by regular ferry's
Our host was great and brilliant at communicating with us. Would be my first choice when I come back to Lake Como.
The view was amazing and the pool was heaven. We loved this hotel. You can’t beat the location of a short walk into town and the rooms were very comfy.
The dinner we had at the restaurant there was definitely the best meal we’ve had in Lake Como- if not in all of Italy. I’d highly recommend staying there
Location is fantastic being situated right in the heart of Bellagio. The apartment was clean and very well equipped. Communication from the hosts was excellent; they provided all the information in advance and were very helpful with suggestions to make our visit to Lake Como perfect.
Very friendly and helpful staff, always reachable by phone. Wonderful, spacious and well appointed apartment witch kitchen in the heart of Bellagio. Great location for exploring the historic town on foot and for boat trips on Lake Como. We would gladly choose La Limonera again.
Casa Ketty is a beautiful gem of a place with amazing views of Lake Como and super comfortable accommodations. Angela was so welcoming and checked in to make sure we were settled. We highly recommend this property.
We stayed here 4 nights. Perfect location in the center of Bellagio, but away from the noisy and busy streets. Amazing view of Lake Como from the balcony. Very clean room and nice staff. Would definitely recommend.
The property is perched high on a hill which makes for the most stunning views over Bellagio / Lake Como. Breakfast every day was perfect with a wide array of fresh goodies from the farm and freshly baked tarts.
