It is quite close to the airport (10 min drive), the room is clean but the only window is in the ceiling. Despite being above a busy pub it was quiet in the room
Carefully restored to retain the character of the original Roganstown House, this is a magnificent Georgian house on the 300-acre Roganstown Estate. It boasts an AA Rosette award-winning restaurant.

They would not turn on mini fridge in the room. There are no plug sockets beside the bed. Bed was incredibly hard. Very dated hotel. €125 for one night midweek without breakfast was expensive.

Accessibility to airport as my flight was so early. I checked in late but the check in process was smooth and no problems. It was straight forward. The car park barrier wasn't working so parking was for free which is appreciated. I only stayed from 9 to 4 in the morning so I didn't had chance to check out other facilities the hotel offers.

It was busier and bigger than I expected but offered all needed. The Swords Express Bus service works really well. You need exact coins as no change nor card facilities are offered on the bus. Swords is the perfect destination for exploring the area; being close to the airport and for frequent trips into Dublin. It also gives easy access to the Motorway if you wish to explore a further afield.

if like me you need this for a layover at Dublin Airport, don't choose this one. It's not on a bus route or walkable so you have to take a cab, which added $20 to my stay. The curtains didn't close all the way and I happened to be on the first floor looking directly at peoples cars. One of only two USB ports didn't work but thankfully one did so I could set an alarm and make it to the airport on time.

I was extremely excited to go to this hotel from the pictures that I viewed and was deeply disappointed when we arrived. Our room looked nothing like any of the photographs. I would never have stayed there if I saw the quality of the room. I will not be back.

A good place to stay is Roganstown Golf and Country Club
What a gem! Being close to the airport, we were surprised how quiet it was in Swords. Dominika has created a beautiful accommodation. Our room was so lovely and comfortable. It included a built in cabinet that contained a delicious continental breakfast that we could serve ourselves at our leisure the next morning. We were able to easily walk to Swords for dinner where we enjoyed a great meal at The Old Schoolhouse Bar and Restaurant. A perfect spot for our last night in Ireland. Made the leaving even harder!
Mary and Jimmy’s beautiful property was perfect for our stop in Dublin to watch the 6 nations international between Ireland v Wales. Superb family room, beautiful breakfast and the best hospitality from the owners. They couldn’t do enough for us. We have a 17 year old son with disability and Mary dropped us to either bus or train station every morning to book our daily travels and showed us around Swords and Malahide. Wonderful couple provided 1st class hospitality.
Probably like most people, I booked the Premier Inn as I was arriving in late off a flight and didn't want to travel down to Cork. In general, I don't have much expectations for airport hotels as they are just places to lie down for a few hours. Premier Inn was fine. It's less than 10 minutes drive from Dublin Airport. The room was very spacious and clean with blackout curtains too. The lady who checked me in at 1am was also very friendly and helpful.
Kettles is a great location to Dublin airport! The family room was large, perfect for organizing our luggage to fly out the next day. Bathroom was large and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast was an extra charge, but very reasonable and delicious! We also tested out the restaurants desserts the night before...there's nothing better than Ireland's sweets, and food in general!!
First of all, the hotel is perfect, very clean and very well maintained.
Everything is perfectly indicated for key collection and room entry.
The person in charge of the hotel is very kind and professional.
It's a 10/10 all is perfect, I recommend you to go there.
What's more, the center of Dublin is about 20 minutes away by cab.
Thank you very much!
Beautiful cottage, the location was perfect only 15 min away from the airport, generous breakfast with gf options available and Dan was also an amazing host! It is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere close to Dublin airport. We will deffo be back, thanks for the help this morning!
This hotel is 10 minutes from Dublin airport and that's why we chose it. But it's nothing like a boring airport hotel. It's got charm and character and you can walk to several good restaurants within a few minutes. Very kind and helpful staff and bonus points for the hotel hiring Ukrainian refugees.
Basic but comfortable with easy access to Dublin Airport by public transport. The staff was exceedingly helpful. Newly refurbished areas are decorated with taste.
The property is surrounded by trees which protect it from the busy road. It was a plus to sit outside on the front lawn before our meal.
First of all I need to state how friendly and accomodating the staff were. I couldn't praise them enough. We ate in the bar and the food was excellent. Location to Dublin airport is perfect, 10min taxi drive. Room was clean and adaquate, well worth the money.
I would stay there again.
The owner was very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the bus stop and travel all over this part of Ireland, switching to trains when needed. It was in a rural setting but easy to get to Swords by bus. The breakfast was great and the decor was beautiful.
Convenient location for short term stays and passengers having to fly from Dublin Airport. Loved the room which was very comfortable and large and a good value for money.
It was my first travelodge experience but definitely not the last
Really enjoyed staying with Mary and Jimmy for our last night in Ireland before flying out of Dublin. Everything was very cozy and very convenient to the airport. Breakfast was delicious. We only regret that couldn’t have stayed longer.
Close to airport, walking distance to downtown swords, some things were older and very cute, but still very clean and comfortable. Mostly quiet hotel. Front desk was always helpful.
Swords is cute with its own castle and downtown.
Friendly check in, nice clean room. Nothing large or spectacular, but good functional hotel room for being close to the airport at a good price for the area. Certainly would stay here again if needed room near Dublin airport.
We booked at Kettles due to their proximity to Dublin airport. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and they were one of the few places in Ireland that had large supportive pillows, none of the flat pancake kind.
