The nearest airport is Bournemouth Airport, 61 km from the campground. The caravan was lovely and clean on arrival, situated perfect as it isn't too far from the complex or the Chesil beach. It was also only a 10 minute drive into the main town. The host was fantastic and made sure we had everything for our arrival to even giving us milk and some biscuits. We had all the basics ready loo roll, cleaning products, coffee etc which was also handy the only thing needed was towels. The parking is at the end of the road so again very handy and near but when the weather is dry there is space to park outside the caravan which we didn't really do as again the parking wasn't too far. I would definitely come back.

This campground has a heated pool and a garden. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Lovely holiday home, clean warm and very well equipped. We really liked the Wood Farm site too which was very peaceful and quiet with no bar or club house! The swimming pool was lovely too. The cafe was nice, the staff were very friendly. Kids liked the play area. Definitely one to come back to.

Athelhampton House is 3.6 km from the campground, while Portland Castle is 28 km away. The nearest airport is Bournemouth Airport, 40 km from Troytown Farm Shepherds hut. Location excellent but slightly marred by traffic noise. Shower difficult. Perhaps I lacked patience.
