Great decor, sea view, and friendly staff. Away from the more lively end of the beach the Makao was perfect for us as we wanted to relax. Their beach beds are so comfy and luxurious and give a great view of the ocean. They will serve drinks and snacks to you here and even brought out complimentary fruit platters in the afternoon! The food was excellent - I had the garlic prawns twice because I loved them so much.

- Very peaceful and not too far from town. If you’re looking for a lively place, this is not for you. - Good location. We walked a few times via the beach (15 mins) or the main road during the day (40mins). At night we got a tuk tuk for about 20 thousand COP. - Close to other beach bars. - Staff extremely helpful. - Food is extraordinary. Amazing dinner as well. Breakfast is perfect. - Pool and beach bar with amazing food and drinks. - The resort itself is beautiful, amazing view, loads of birds and squirrels around.

cozy and quiet, hammocks to relax, well equipped guest kitchen, good location in a quiet side street close to the restaurants, short walk to the beach. Very good breakfast. For breakfast you get to choose between eggs, pancakes or a vegan option, all accompanied by fruit (I loved the Pancakes). we stayed for one week and loved it. great place to relax and unwind. we stayed at different places in Palomino and this was our favourite.

Great value for this price. Very good breakfast. Close to (but not at) the beach. Connected Laola Bar is also very good and nice. Nice little fitness area. Bungalow ist also perfect. Well managed casa by a Swiss family.

Very clean, like being at home. Bathrooms have soap in and towels are provided. Great breakfast. Mario who checked us in was very nice and helpful. There's a tour agency attached; we didn't use them but they've lots on offer and can store your luggage whilst you take trips. Complimentary water. Rooms are small if they're full; we had a 4 bed with bathroom and luckily were just 2, otherwise would be a squeeze. Good location to the beachfront. AC in the room.
