2D1N trip to Agra to catch the sunrise in Taj Mahal. Checked-in at 3pm and departed early at 6.30am the following day. Staff was friendly. Outdoor verandah had a good view point of City. Taj Mahal was visible but at night you won’t see.

It is a stones throw from the Taj so that is a bonus. Beer on the terrace whilst watching the sunset is also a bonus. This place was recommended by friends and I wish I had done my own research. Breakfast was good.

Rahul the manager, and his team could not be any more helpful, even when we couldn’t find mangos he drove us to get some, he also took us to a Taj Mahal viewpoint for sunset with no catch, helped us with transportation and food. He couldn’t be anymore accommodating. Would defo come back.

Lovely modern hotel close to the Taj. Good view of the Taj from rooftop terrace bar, though not super close. Rooms are fairly standard size and facilities. Some have the Taj view, though ours did not. Pool is lovely, and gardens quite big with monkeys in the trees. Main restaurant is a buffet, but you can order a la carte as well. The staff are great. Very nice gulab jamun and raas malai deserts. Giving new customers a bindi on arrival is a nice touch.

    - proximity to the Taj Mahal - modern and clean building with (in principle) very nice rooms which match the pictures in booking.com (rare in India) - nice breakfast with a lot of choices - Narinda was very helpful (unfortunately we met her only when we left, so she assisted with the taxi rental) - nice hot shower

For a first stay in a hostel at the start of 6 months travelling,, this was a great experience. The staff are all very pleasant and extremely helpful and the rooms are perfectly fine... decent bed, blanket and pillow, charging port next to bed with light. It was quite quiet when i stayed, with only one person sharing and he was great. Hot shower wins every time and let me stay an extra night at the same price.
