We really enjoyed our stay, mě And my 2 kids age 9 and 11. Oawaldo Is a great host, he provided transportation from the airport in the evening (25e), the boat has everything you need, towels, microwave oven, coffee maker. Oawaldo provided us nice breakfast every day (pastry, bread, youghurt, orange juice, milk, cheese, ham, cereals, nesquik, even coke for.kids). One evening his mum prepared typical local dinner, delicious). Marina is safe and clean, It takes about 30-40 minutes by walk to the centre, we often used Uber (4e) to Ponte Luis. Highly recommended. We will definitelly come back.

Our stay on a floating house was nothing short of wonderful. It was a truly unique and fascinating experience to wake up every day in the marina, surrounded by the captivating presence of ships right from the comfort of our "home". Everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable time was provided, with well-appointed amenities that ensured a pleasant stay throughout. We would like to extend a special thanks to Eduardo, who played a crucial role in making our vacation incredibly smooth. He was always available and went above and beyond to address any inquiries we had. We highly recommend this extraordinary experience to everyone, as it offers a refreshing and one-of-a-kind way to enjoy Porto. We are already looking forward to returning and reliving this unique adventure once again.

The boat consists of 2 separate bedrooms, 1 bathroom with free toiletries, a seating area, and a living room. A private entrance leads guests into the boat, where they can enjoy some wine or champagne and fruits. The property has an outdoor dining area.

The boat is 31 foot, and has a large external cockpit area under canvas. In sunny weather, the sides can be raised to provide a lovely comfortable social area. Even in poor weather, the stern canvas wall can be raised to provide a very pleasant spot for a drink - the marina staff kindly brought them down. The boat is on an inside berth in the marina, so that if, as was the case for us, there are large boats on the outside berth, there is not much sea to be seen. Inside is a saloon cabin, which can be used for eating, or converted to a bed (the "second bedroom"). Off the saloon, there is a separate toilet/shower, and the separate sleeping cabin. All are comfortable, but limited in height and space, especially the sleeping cabin. The mattress and pillows are hard. You need to be reasonably agile to get into the sleeping cabin, and to move around the toilet section. There is a coffee machine in the saloon, and a microwave, but no other cooking facilities. We had no hot water. The prepaid 2 course supper was kindly delivered, precooked, but in the process of delivery, the chips had lost their crispness. Food was otherwise OK. We provided our own wine. Overnight, there was singing and music from the marina, till after midnight, and there were the usual noises of boats and people moving. Breakfast was not served on the boat, but was available in the marina. Check in was remote, and not simple. You follow Google directions to the marina, not well signed, past the (closed) print museum, and there is a barrier next to a fishing shop. Just inside the barrier, attached to the fence, is a small box/Keysafe, opened with a code supplied by the owner. Unfortunately the key card was not inside when we opened the box, making things yet more complicated. We were never told why the card was missing. We were helped by the owner contacting an employee of the marina to let us and our car, into the marina. Overall, it was a fun experience.

Highly recommended. 100 % unbelievable. An amazing experience. My children really loved it and it was super cool to them sleeping and living on a boat! He had everything we needed with a very good high quality breakfast - The host Osvaldo and his son, Thiago, were eager to help. They made every single thing perfect. We wish Osvaldo were our uncle in Portugal. We would like to stay in sleep yatch hotel in the other places in our future.

Location is great for the river walk area. We could see all the street performers from our window or balcony. Lots of restaurants nearby. Great spot to watch boats go by on the river too.

We absolutely loved this apartment and would stay here again. The apartment has a luxury and spacious feel to it with everything in it completed to a high specification. The balcony area and the view it offers is superb. It was great to start the mornings having breakfast outside and watching the runners, cyclists and boats along the Douro.

Excellent location, wonderful “entertainment“ just outside the windows of boats, trams, walkers…, short walk to public transport. Located far enough away from the busy center of town to help keep it quiet. Very nice restaurants and a grocery store close by the flat. Excellent responses and help from the owner.

It was very clean, with great views from the 11th floor. It was a stop over for us with our dog and it worked very well. 20 min walk and your down by the river and all the attractions..There is free on site parking. We were leaving early the following morning to catch the boat from Santander. The staff went out of their way to provide us with a fresh croissant and roll with ham and cheese and coffee before we departed. Comically the coffee was cold but full marks for going beyond the call of duty.
