Breakfast was very nice and very well presented. Also, because you're on a houseboat there were only two other couples besides us, and our hosts made for a pleasant morning chatting at breakfast.

The quirkiness of the houseboat! Loved the fact we could use the kitchen/dining/seating area outside. Breakfast was fabulous and plentiful.

The yurt is super cosy and feels like a hug. The use of part of a boat to create the shower room is ingenious. The shower works well, plenty of hot water, which was important for us as we were cycling and swimming. The setting looking out of the yurt is very pleasant. The changing light through the day reflecting on the water makes for an atmospheric spot, great for sketching and photography. We had great fun on the kayaks lent to us by Trudi. Finally, the company of the resident cat was endearing.

The houseboat was magical and the hosts were so welcoming; we are literally going to miss them! Breakfast was great and lots of choices. The common areas were so comfortable and sitting on the deck was spectacular. Would thoroughly recommend this venue and felt like we were in a little bubble of relaxation.

The whole experience of staying on a houseboat. The hosts also added to a great stay their interaction was second to none giving it a homely feeling. The breakfast choice was excellent only continental but that suit us. The houseboatwas clean and tidy to a high standard and we couldn't fault it in anyway. The rear decking with seating on allowed us watch the sunset each evening. This is probably a hidden gem of the Isle of white wish we had found this in previous visits to the Island.

Spotlessly clean and great sized room. Friendly and helpful staff who dealt quickly with our late book in due to a delayed ferry crossing. Lovely location in Bembridge with shops nearby and a short walk to the beach and Bembridge Lifeboat Station. Good selection of drinks at the bar and great service. Vegan breakfast easily sorted on request.

The Pilot Boat Inn was in a perfect location when we were taking part in the Walk the Wight 26 mile challenge recently. George and Julia made us feel very welcome, we very much appreciated our cooked breakfast at their house 3 miles into the walk! Our room was The Bridge which was spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the White Knuckle beer, exceptionally nice, brewed in the pub. We would definately recommend staying here!
