The shower works well, plenty of hot water, which was important for us as we were cycling and swimming. The setting looking out of the yurt is very pleasant. The changing light through the day reflecting on the water makes for an atmospheric spot, great for sketching and photography. We had great fun on the kayaks lent to us by Trudi. The breakfast choice was excellent only continental but that suit us. The houseboatwas clean and tidy to a high standard and we couldn't fault it in anyway. The rear decking with seating on allowed us watch the sunset each evening. This is probably a hidden gem of the Isle of white wish we had found this in previous visits to the Island.

George and Julia made us feel very welcome, we very much appreciated our cooked breakfast at their house 3 miles into the walk! Our room was The Bridge which was spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the White Knuckle beer, exceptionally nice, brewed in the pub. We would definately recommend staying here!
