The word hostel tends to put me off but the room we had was luxurious and spacious. Everywhere is super tidy and clean and the shared kitchen downstairs is well-equipped. The shower worked very well as did the Wifi. The bed is large and comfortable with beautiful linen. The parking is opposite the hotel and there are about 6 spaces so you are likely to get a spot without any problem. The staff were friendly and helpful and had left some goodies in the room, including ice cream!!

We stayed here before our tour to Taroko. The location is walking distance from the station so it was very convenient. There are convenience stores around the hotel, and a few places to eat. The hotel has a shared kitchen with a few drinks included. Breakfast was a voucher at McD or MOS. The hotel is located on a side street, but you could still hear scooters at night (we are light sleepers and the noise did not prevent us from getting a good night sleep, but just wanted to flag) Overall, it was perfect for us for a night stay.
