Next to Edinburgh Airport, the award-winning Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Airport offers a chargeable 24-hour shuttle service and rooms with showers. Central Edinburgh is 15 minutes’ drive away. 15min walk away from the airport. Shuttle is also available for free from the airport to the hotel. Good price for stay with breakfast. Although by the airport not very noisy. Shower is renovated and great water pressure.

As such it is a short drive to a host of local attractions, quality restaurants, bars, golf courses and sports venues. Despite having Edinburgh Airport as our immediate neighbour we were never disturbed by any of the aircraft operations. The quality of The Cottage's furnishings is exceptionally high and the presentation was of the highest standard. The Cottage is superbly well appointed with quality fitments, bedlinen, towelling and the like. The bedroom suites, bathroom and lounge are all wonderfully comfortable, well heated and delightfully cosy. The kitchen was very spacious and, again, extremely well appointed. Our host, Donna, welcomed us on arrival and quickly explained the layout and the attractions of the property. Donna was warm, engaging and considerate and her attention to the guests’ needs is flawless. Communications were speedy and helpful. The rain deterred us from using the outdoor patio but The Cottage's indoor facilities more than compensated for the dreary weather. We look forward to making a return visit as soon as we can and would highly recommend 'Castle Gogar Cottage' to all discerning visitors to Edinburgh.

The wood burning fireplaces added to the romance. The location to restaurants in Queensferry was perfect! And it was an easy drive to airport in the morning.

The bungalow was perfect, owners friendly, complimentary tea and coffee. Beds were comfy, water was hot, free parking, highly recommended, will definitely use again
